Revolution Idle is an Idle Game series by Ninjanic, with the second game also made by Gumrok and Denis Berger. You watch a circle fill up, which gives you points and adds to a multiplier. Points can be spent on making the circle fill faster and adding additional colored layers.

The original from 2017 very simplistic, with only six layers and a simple ascend mechanic where you reset the layer and increase overall power by 0.01. Since the costs don't increase, with enough patience and button mashing, it's possible to break the game.

Revolution Idle 2 that came out three days later is much larger, with twelve layers, three prestige mechanics, and no real way to break it.

Idle R3volutions came out in 2018. Since Ninjanic was not the second game's administrator, they had to make a new game. It has six layers and three ascension systems, but it's really more like the first game.

This game provides examples of:

  • Absurdly High Level Cap: In the second game, each layer initially has a level cap of 100, but you can perform an ascension once you have enough money that resets its level but increases its max level by 100 and multiplies multiplier gain for it by 10.
  • Ad Reward: In Re, at least the Crazy Games version, you can watch an ad for 5 minutes of Speed-Up time.
  • Anti Poop-Socking: While the second game does not have a traditional Offline Progress mechanic, it allocates Speed-Up time while you're away. Pressing the button to speed the game up for just a fraction of a second will more than make up for the time spent away.
  • Cap: Speed-Up time caps at 300s, 1h in the remake.
  • Diminishing Returns for Balance: In the second game.
    • The prestige multiplier gain is cut by one-fourth logarithmically above e300.
    • Multiplier amount per ascensions gain goes up 1/4 times as fast at 500, which drops to 1/20 at 1000.
  • Export Save: You can export the 2KB+ save file into an in-game window and paste it in to import it.
  • Kill Screen: The first game crashes once you go above 1.8e308 points.
  • Letters 2 Numbers: The third installment's title is Idle R3volutions, with a "3" instead of an "e".
  • New Game Plus:
    • You can ctrl+click the Prestige button after reaching about 1e9$ to the multiplier after the one from each layer and potentially the overall power.
    • Upon reaching 1e6 prestige multiplier, you can Promote to increase one of four stats: rate of multiplier increase, lap speed, higher amounts per ascension, and prestige multiplier gain.
    • At 150 Max Amount Promotion, you can Rebirth for Rebirth Points to spend on autobuyers and the ability to have circles battle monsters that give a multiplier increase boost with each one that gets defeated.
  • No Plot? No Problem!: No plot anywhere in the game or its menus.
  • Prolonged Video Game Sequel: The sequel adds several layers to the wheel, a New Game Plus system, and a higher point cap.
