Hairy Trees Massacre is a 2024 RPG horror game made by Axel Vejar Dossow.

Lucy is a 30-year-old woman who has come to a childhood spot in the woods where her father was killed. She has been encouraged by her therapist to return to these woods and deal with the trauma of her father going missing. As she travels through the wilderness, she discovers ravaged campsites and discovers that Bigfoot is real and killing anyone it encounters. Can Lucy escape Bigfoot and will she find the answers she needs on her father’s death?

Hairy Trees Massacre contains examples of:

  • Always a Bigger Fish: Lucy's father was a dangerous Serial Killer, but still a physically normal human; Bigfoot is an Animalistic Abomination with Super-Strength. Guess who won when the latter attacked.
  • Ax-Crazy: The maniac. He doesn’t have any justifiable reason for killing people aside for his own amusement and he was prepared to kill an orphaned baby.
  • Big Bad: Bigfoot is the monster who killed Lucy's father and pursues Lucy herself when she enters the woods.
  • Boob-Based Gag: Lucy has a JJ sized bust and her ample chest can potentially alert Bigfoot to her hiding spots.
  • Censor Box: Whenever Lucy is naked, there’s a big black square, censoring her body. The same thing happens with Pauline after her shirt is torn, censoring her chest.
  • Deadly Hug: One of Lucy’s potential deaths is her being crushed by Bigfoot’s tight hug.
  • Even Evil Can Be Loved: Lucy’s father is actually the maniac in the story with Pauline. He killed her real family and took her in as his own daughter. However, because Lucy never learns the truth about her “father”, she still loves him and wants to find out what happened to him.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: When Pauline is cornered by the maniac, she insists that he must have spared the baby because there’s some good in him. However, he quickly proves her wrong by saying that he merely forgot to kill the baby and will finish the job after he’s done with Pauline.
  • Hell Is That Noise: Bigfoot tends to make strange moaning sounds when he’s approaching unsuspecting victims. His chase sounds are even stranger as they sound like angry pig squealing.
  • Kill the Parent, Raise the Child: The maniac turns out to be Lucy’s father, having killed her real family moments earlier. The maniac opted not to kill Lucy as it wouldn’t be any fun killing a baby. Instead, he chose to adopt her and planned to tell her what really happened to her family when she turned 18.
  • Multiple Endings: There are a total of seven endings for the game.
    • Ending 1: Fear. Lucy chooses to go home instead of going into the woods. Unfortunately for her, her therapist is disappointed with her and refers her to another therapist. Lucy is unable to get the help she needs and eventually kills herself with a note that says, “The nightmares won’t stop. Dad, I’ll see you soon.”
    • Ending 2: I Married Bigfoot. Lucy chooses to go back to her car when she finds the first blood-covered campsite. She starts hearing strange sounds from behind her when Bigfoot suddenly appears and starts chasing her. Before she can reach her car, Bigfoot catches up with her and takes her back to his cave where she’s forced to become his wife. Lucy loses her mind as she’s forced to live with Bigfoot and turns into a cannibalistic beast hunting with her husband, preying on innocent people that wander into the forest.
    • Ending 3: Daddy Dearest. Lucy goes into the cave where she finds the remains of her father. She’s saddened by the sight, but she feels relief knowing that she has some closure about her father’s fate. Just then, the cave collapses, trapping Lucy inside it.
    • Ending 4: Aliens. Lucy falls off a cliff while holding a weird object. As she’s falling, she’s suddenly lifted up by a strange blue light. She wakes up and finds herself on an alien ship where they conduct several experiments on her. She’s later found naked by some tourists and she’s taken to a hospital where scientists examined her. Years later, she’s taken away by aliens again, but is still missing.
    • Ending 5: Where Are You Going? Lucy doesn’t pick up the pistol in the abandoned house. Lucy manages to get out of the woods and finds a man by his truck. Just as she’s asking him to give him a ride to the police station, she hears Bigfoot approaching. However, since she doesn’t have any weapon to defend herself against Bigfoot, he effortlessly kills Lucy and the man and celebrates by holding up their severed heads.
    • Ending 6: Hoax. Lucy picks up the pistol in the abandoned house, but doesn’t get a picture of Bigfoot. Lucy escapes the woods and finds a man by his truck. Just as she’s asking him to give her a ride to the police station, she hears Bigfoot approaching. She tells the man to start up the truck while she stalls Bigfoot with a few shots to the chest. She and the man are able to escape, but Lucy is unable to prove Bigfoot’s existence. She’s briefly suspected of killing the people in the woods before the charges were dropped. Despite there being footprints and hair to back up Lucy’s claims, people forget about the case and move on. Lucy feels more miserable than ever after her terrible experience, having gained nothing from her adventure. After the ending synopsis, it suddenly cuts back to Pauline’s story, which shows the dead ranger. The maniac, satisfied with his kill, proceeds to move to the baby. However, he decides that it’s no fun killing a helpless baby. Instead, he decides that it would be more fun to take the baby in as his daughter. Then, once she turns 18, he plans to tell her the truth about her family. Before he flees with the baby, he decides on the perfect name for her: Lucy.
    • Ending 7: Legend. Lucy picks up the pistol in the abandoned house and is able to get a picture of Bigfoot. Lucy escapes the woods and finds a man by his truck. Just as she’s asking him to give her a ride to the police station, she hears Bigfoot approaching. She tells the man to start up the truck while she stalls Bigfoot with a few shots to the chest. She and the man are able to escape and she’s able to prove Bigfoot’s existence with the photo she took earlier. The police recovers all the bodies from the woods, but Bigfoot is not found. Lucy’s life turns around thanks to her being able to prove Bigfoot’s existence. She becomes famous, publishes her story and gets a film made about her. People admire her for her survival skills, turning her into a legend.
  • Papa Wolf: It’s implied that the reason why Lucy’s father is dead is because he spent his final moments protecting his daughter from Bigfoot.
  • You Killed My Father: In Endings 6 and 7, Lucy shoots Bigfoot with the pistol she found in the abandoned house, declaring that the shots are for Bigfoot killing her father.
