Acting for Two: If you're watching an old Yogi Bear cartoon and there are no female voices in it, chances are all the voices were performed by Daws Butler and Don Messick.
Thirteen Yogi Bear segments are not available on DVD, all of which are from the second season of The Huckleberry Hound Show, whose only DVD release was the first season (which contained the first 22 Yogi Bear segments). Fortunately, the entire series constantly reran on Boomerang for many years, so they're not too difficult to find online. As of 2020, these segments have been restored in high definition and can be streamed on HBO Max.
The 1988 revival isn't any wiser: The only VHS release was a six-episode compilation in Australia. It was last seen in the United States on Boomerang, with no DVD release in sight.
The entirety of both the original and new Yogi Bear shows are available on iTunes.
What Could Have Been: In the early 1990s, a reboot show called Jellystone's Most Wanted: Yogi the Fugitive Bear was in the planning stages, with the possibility of it premiering on Nickelodeon. Some character concept art and preview packagings were developed, but Turner acquiring Hanna-Barbera around this time seemed to put a dent in said plans.
The 2010 Live-Action Film:
Acting for Two: In the Canadian French dub, both Boo-Boo and Ranger Smith are voiced by Benoit Éthier.
California Doubling: The film was primarily shot in New Zealand, as it was winter in the northern hemisphere and to wait for summer would delay the shooting schedule by six months longer than if in the southern hemisphere.
Kids' Meal Toy: Hardee's had a set of four toys from April to June 2011. There was a pie launcher, power canoe, crazy ranger cart, and the "Old Bear" card game.
Stillborn Franchise: A sequel was announced in 2012, with Jay Chandrasekhar chosen to direct, but no further updates had been given.
Troubled Production: T.J. Miller had a life-threatening cerebral atreovenoius malformation during filming and had to undergo a risky brain surgery.
