• Hide Your Pregnancy: Marika Rökk was pregnant with her and director Georg Jacoby's daughter Gabriele when the film was made. Her pregnancy had to be hidden in some shots, then filming was simply halted for some months when her belly grew too big.
• Troubled Production: Filming was stopped between September 1943 and April 1944 because of Marika Rökk's pregnancy, in addition to other halts because of Allied air raids (it was filmed in the vicinity of Berlin).
