  • What Could Have Been: The Anger Management skits which were more or less part of the initial rivalry between Bryan and Kane seemed to be Product Placement for Anger Management (2012) which appeared around that time. To hammer it home, Charlie Sheen was supposed to be part of the feud, antagonizing Bryan and supposedly appearing in Kane's corner for their Summerslam matchup or outright being Bryan's opponent. However, that turned out not to be the case, as Sheen never appeared following his one time gig as RAW social media ambassador and the skits eventually became their own thing. Later reports suggested that Sheen had actually never been tied down to a contract for such an appearance, which led to the change of plans.
    • As noted in his book, Bryan was set to have their team be named "Team Friendship" or "Team Teamwork" had the fans voted for it, even going so far as to pitch t-shirt ideas. He believed that although the "Team Hell No" was appropriate for both their characters, the WWE wouldn't find a way to make it marketable to the family-friendly audience they had been targeting.
