Trivia / Resident Evil: Revelations

Go To

  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: Not the game itself or any of its ports, but the original 3DS copies with the infamous "Revelaitons" Tyop on the Cover are significantly more expensive.
  • The Other Darrin: Possibly to avoid voice acting in two back to back games, Jill is voiced by Michelle Ruff instead of Patricia Ja Lee.
  • What Could Have Been:
    • In Jessica's Report on Youtube, there were evidence that Rachel was planned to be a playable character in either the story or in Raid Mode. Come the console version's release, however, she was made playable in the latter.
    • As explained under Never Trust a Trailer, early versions of the game seemed significantly different from the final, particularly with the apparent Chris/Jill rivalry, an appearance by HUNK, and the mysterious man speaking at the end of the E3'10 trailer, none of which appear at all.
    • Originally, Rachel Foley wasn't in the game with her role being an FBC member that gets killed by an Ooze and later mutating into a unique Ooze that left behind a journal documenting the transformation was given to a cut character named Richard. While Richard was cut from the final game and replaced with Rachel, he still appeared in the Revelations pilot demo included with Mercenaries 3D and references to him and his memo still exist in files for the finished game.
    • The Wall Blister enemy that appears in the console versions of the game was originally going to be in the original 3DS version before it was cut out. However, it's model for the 3DS version still exists in the game's files.
