• Breakthrough Hit: The manga was Arina Tanemura's first truly successful series, as well as one of the only two of her works to be popular enough to get an anime adaptation.
• No Export for You: In a truly odd case, the anime was exported to Spain in 2005 by way of company Arait Multimedia, but due to confusing circumstances, it was never distributed. Voice actor Juan Antonio Soler later confirmed a dub exists and was able to recall most of the cast (he played Chiaki), but nobody has heard about it since, and it's entertained it must be still collecting dust in some archive.
