Trivia / NG Knight Lamune & 40

• Acting for Two: Unlike the original where they're voiced by different actors ^note  odd considering that Kusao did voice Black Lamuness in the drama CD's for the original series and can very easily pull off villain roles as well as his heroic ones , in the European Spanish dub of VS Knight, Adult Lamune & Black Lamuness are both voiced by Carlos Lladó.
• Crossdressing Voices: In the European Spanish dub, Lamune is voiced by Ariadna Jiménez, who also voiced his son, Lamunade in the European Spanish dub of VS Knight
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Prior to Discotek licensing both TV series ^note  and eventually the entire series , the only part of the series released in English was the VS Knight Lamune & 40 Fresh, the Hotter and Sexier and Darker and Edgier OVA sequel to the VS Knight TV series, though this sequel is generally despised by the fanbase.
• No Export for You: While Spain got both TV series in the late 2000's, they however did not get the OVA's and same goes for the Middle East and South Korea, the only parts of the world that got the whole series outside of Japan are China and North America.
• Time-Shifted Actor: In the European Spanish dub of VS Knight, Lamune as an adult is voiced by Carlos Lladó, who also voices Lamuness I and Black Lamuness, as noted above Ariadna Jimenez voices Lamunade too, so this does still maintain the Lamuness connection.
