• Ascended Fanon:
  • It's commonly held fanon that Grogar is a Necromancer in G1, so much so that it's mistaken for canon. This is finally made official for G4 when Grogar brings King Sombra Back from the Dead.
  • Grogar was also featured in several G4 fanfics prior to becoming a fully canon character.
• The Other Darrin: Series director Jim Miller voiced Sombra in the season 3 premiere due to having little dialogue. Now he's voiced by Alvin Lee Sanders, who voiced Flutterguy in past episodes.
• Similarly Named Works: There is also an episode of Glitter Force Doki Doki titled "The Beginning of the End". It also occurs near the end of the series.
