• Approval of God: Elise Lowing gave permission to fellow fanfic writer TLBT-Fan to write two tie-in stories to her fics; ''The Land Before Time Retold - Family Forever, which focusses on Aylene feeling guilty for failing to prevent the death of Littlefoot's mother, and The Land Before Time Retold - The Other Human, which is an origin story for Ken.
• Follow the Leader: While not the first Land Before Time fanfic to use the idea of a human time traveling to prehistoric times and meeting the main characters, this series did popularize the genre and led to multiple other fics that retell the events from the movies but with one or more humans thrown in. Bonus points if those fics also have their human OC use a timestone given by a grandparent and/or use a bow and arrow as their weapon of choice.
