- Recycled Script: The first arc, The Death and Life of Oliver Queen, has the exact same premise as the first arc of Jeff Lemire's run. Oliver loses his fortune and becomes an underdog fugitive fighting a vast, powerful conspiracy that takes his company away from him and sends assassins after him. If you've read Lemire's run, this is awfully jarring because (1) no one in the Rebirth series ever comments that this has all happened before and (2) several supporting characters in the Rebirth series were introduced in Jeff Lemire's run, so you'd think they would at least hang a lampshade on the similarities.
