• Development Gag: The wanted posters seen in this cartoon have the “Bugs” in Bugs’ name in quotation marks, a reference to how Bugs got his name from his original model sheet’s name of ““Bugs”’s Bunny”, in tribute to Warner Bros. cartoon director Ben “Bugs” Hardaway.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Or more accurately, the Public Domain tapes. Don’t expect to find a restored, fully uncut print from Warner Home Video anytime soon, this likely being due to the ending (See Values Dissonance on the YMMV page). Clips of a fully restored version, however, were seen in the specials “King Size Comedy: Tex Avery and the Looney Tunes Revolution” (2012) and “Bugs Bunny’s 80th What’s Up, Doc-umentary!” (2020).
