- Hey, It's That Sound!: The game reuses many ambient sounds from the first Unreal.
- Refitted for Sequel: The game started life as a licensed bonus pack for Unreal Tournament. It eventually was modified into this game when it became clear Epic had no intention of releasing anything official for UT, leading Digitalo to reuse the assets and create a game from scratch.
