For the Atari 2600 game:

• Follow the Leader: The Tank game from this cartridge has spawned clones on other game systems, notably Armor Battle for the Intellivision.

For the 2001 Windows PC Game:

• Dummied Out: the game disc leaves out a lot of data that went unused in the final product, as detailed on The Cutting Room Floor wiki.
  • Earlier models included tanks with treads, such as a rough take on the M48 Patton, instead of the final hovertanks.
  • Some models were included from a later video game adaption of Survivor released in 2002.
  • The game's files also included many unused skyboxes, including ones with lava and water with space whales.
  • Its audio files include multiple early renditions of power-up, warp, movement sounds and explosions, as well as alternate takes on the soundtrack.
