• California Doubling: Even though the show takes place in Montana, it was actually filmed in Canada; a whole other country, let alone a state.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: No DVDs for the show exist.
• Out of Order: Twenty-six episodes were produced for season one, but only twenty-two were broadcast at the time. The other four were shown later, but not until after the season two premiere had already made reference to some of the events from those episodes.
• Working Title: The original pilot for the series was titled Stray Dog, then later Stray, then Just a Kid (which is what it's known as in Australia) before finally settling on the title Caitlin's Way.
