- So here's the deal: you get to make a bunch of incredibly anime characters, and I get to put them in incredibly contrived situations wherein they must use their powers to guide a grizzly bear by telephone through making a website with a node.js backend or something similarly silly. The OOC thread.
The IC thread is here and the OOC thread here.
This roleplay contains examples of the following tropes:
- Ass Shove: It's merely implied (except by GM confirmation), but Yoake ends up on the receiving end of one of these during the fight in the sex shop.
- Bully Hunter: Minato; his backstory mentions him getting into trouble at school for dishing out punishment to bullies with his fists and he refers to Aramitama as 'bullies' he needs to fight.
- The Cassandra: Noriko, who has visions about the supernatural world but is believed by nobody due to the Perception Filter that everyone has. She even refuses to believe Minato when he tells her that her visions were true all along.
- Casual Kink: Minato and maids.
- Chivalrous Pervert: Minato. His first interaction with Faith is to openly flirt with her. His second is to protect her from the shot of an Aramitama.
- The Chosen Many: The Awakened Godslayers.
- Cool Big Sis: Tsukasa to Minato.
- Fiery Redhead: Averted with Minato, who, while flirtatious, is otherwise rather calm and cool.
- Genki Girl: Yuki embodies this.
- Large Ham: Almost everyone in the cast has their moments (some more than others), with special mention of Yuki.
- Maid Cafe: The story starts here and this is a meeting point for the protagonists.
- Mission Control: Enn and Winter, the Benevolent A.I. allies of the party.
- Multi-Melee Master: Minato's Requiem, in theory, turns him into a Hyperspace Arsenal, but in practice he is far better with fighting up close.
- My Friends... and Zoidberg: Specifically, my friends and Shef."Shef.....less so, but he's kinda there too. Just....far off in the corner."
- Passionate Sports Girl: Yoake, who is obsessed with the sport of Keijo.
- Perception Filter: Non-Awakened see supernatural events as things that have a mundane explanation.
- Pocket Dimension: Utilized by both Aramitama and Yoake.
- Power-Strain Blackout: Actions rolled with the highest roll result cause negative effects thanks to the game rules, and Faith in particular faints midbattle after firing off too many strong lasers.
- Phenotype Stereotype: Faith, an American, was deliberately created blonde and blue-eyed and buxom in order to reference this trope.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: Minato is the Blue Oni to Yuki and the Red Oni to Noriko, and Yuki and Noriko are Red and Blue Oni to each other.
- Signature Move: Minato's Rho Aias and Durandal and Yuki's HEAVENLY AEGIS.
- In general most characters have these, as they're an explicit game mechanic. Faith, for example has FREEDOM BEAM!.
- Who You Gonna Call?: The Demon Hunter Society, despite their name.
