  • The Ghost and Mrs. Muir: When Mrs. Muir tells Daniel the cottage reminds her of a poem, Daniel quotes "Ode to a Nightingale" ("Charm'd magic casements, opening on the foam/Of perilous seas, in faery lands forlorn").
  • The Last Picture Show: Duane, Jacy and Sonny's English teacher reads "Ode to a Grecian Urn" to them and the rest of the class.
  • Mary Poppins: The title character quotes "Endymion" ("A thing of beauty is a joy forever") when she pulls a plant out of her bag.
  • Monsieur Verdoux: The title character quotes from "Endymion" ("Our feet were soft in flowers") before committing one of his murders.
  • Quiz Show: When Richard Goodwin visits Charles Van Doren for the first time at Van Doren's office, they're interrupted by two female students who want to ask him about poetry. As Goodwin leaves, he quotes "Ode to a Grecian Urn" to them ("Beauty is truth, truth beauty/That is all ye know on earth and all ye need to know").
  • White Men Can't Jump: After Sidney shoots a free throw (during a bet he has with Billy), Junior quotes "Endymion" ("'A thing of beauty is a joy forever.' My man John Keats said that! John Keats, that's my man!").

  • Interview with the Vampire (2022): In a Season 2 20-second TV spot, the vampire Armand tells the young Daniel Molloy that he can offer him an "easeful death," which is from "Ode to a Nightingale".
  • Monday Night Football: When John Lennon was assassinated, Howard Cosell announced it during the broadcast, and quoted "Ode to a Nightingale" ("My heart aches, and a drowsy numbness pains my sense").
  • Monty Python's Flying Circus: In the fourth season episode "Michael Ellis", Chris, the main character in the episode, stumbles upon a poetry reading featuring Keats, William Wordsworth, Percy Bysshe Shelley, and Alfred, Lord Tennyson. While the others rework some of their most famous poems around the Running Gag of the episode, ants (Wordsworth changes "Daffodils" so it's "A host of golden worker ants" instead of "A host of golden daffodils"), which pleases the audience, Keats instead changes "Ode to a Nightingale" so it's about an anteater, which disturbs the crowd, and he's dragged off the stage.
  • Penny Dreadful: In one episode, Lucifer tries to tempt Vanessa by reading from "Ode to a Nightingale".

  • My Fair Lady: In the song "Without You", Eliza sings at one point, "Somehow, Keats will survive without you".

Video Games

  • Cult of the Lamb: Forneus, one of the vendors you could potentially encounter on crusades, has a habit of referencing Keats poems, most notably "Endymion" ("Oh but a thing of beauty is a joy forever!") and "Ode on a Grecian Urn" ("Beauty is truth, truth beauty, and that is all ye need know of your heart.").

Western Animation

  • Janna from Star vs. the Forces of Evil mentions having a crush on him in one episode.
  • Yellow Submarine: At one point, the Chief Blue Meanie says, "A thing of beauty - destroy it forever!", which is a parody of the famous line from "Endymion".
