Jules Leotard shows Xavier that it's perfectly normal for him to feel many different emotions when it's his turn to jump off the diving board.
This episode includes examples of:
- Absurd Altitude: Xavier imagines that the diving board is so high, that he can see the Earth below it.
- An Aesop: It's okay to feel different emotions at the same time.
- High-Dive Hijinks: Xavier is initially nervous to jump off the diving board. We get a shot from his perspective of the diving board being on top of the world.
- Irony: Brad is usually the nervous one, but in this episode, he's not at all scared to jump off the diving board, and does so confidently, unlike Xavier.
- Kids Hate Chores: Jules despises having to sweep the pool, but he does like closing the skylights.
- Mundane Made Awesome: Jules makes closing the skylights look like a high-flying trapeze act.
