"High-Five Sandwich" contains the following tropes:

  • Comically Missing the Point: Chuck refuses to believe a "high-five sandwich" is not actually a new kind of sandwich that everyone likes better than his, despite being told by multiple people throughout the episode.
  • Cut Lex Luthor a Check: The episode opens on Chuck completely legitimately winning the Sandwich of the Year competition.
  • Exact Words: When Chuck wins the Sandwich of the Year award, the judge says that he'll get a nice little article in the newspaper. "Little" as in consisting only of a single sentence.
  • Worst News Judgment Ever: The high-five sandwich Violet, Becky, and Scoops came up with gets top-billing in the newspaper the next day. Meanwhile, the Sandwich of the Year award Chuck won, which is at least marginally more news-worthy, only gets a single sentence.

"The Robot Problem" contains the following tropes:

  • Enemy Mine: WordGirl teams up with Tobey in this episode.
