A food critic dies during lunch at a Michelin-starred restaurant. Max and Miranda must work out how he was killed as well as who did it.
Max Winter: Hey, I don't obsess about food, I just have passions. I bet you haven't even thought about your last meal.

Miranda Blake: Salt and vinegar crisps. They're the only flavour worth having. They prefer paprika here, of course. It's only cos they've been raised on food from horror movies.
An unpopular food critic dies during lunch at a Michelin-starred restaurant and an obituary saying he was murdered is emailed from the chef's home. It is discovered that he was poisoned, so Max and Miranda interview everyone he dined with as well as the restaurant staff in order to identify the killer. A secret from the past is the key to the case.
