Tropes

  • Blunt "No": When Clint asks if they can celebrate the fact that he banishes all three of their enemies' spirits, Griffin hits him back with this.
  • Bread, Eggs, Breaded Eggs: While reading the Jumbotron messages during the ad break, Griffin wonders if one of the groups he is reading a message for is a D&D group or a ska band or a D&D ska band.
  • Continuity Nod: Noelle's recollection of her former life has a double nod. She perished in the destruction of Phandalin, which the heroes were slightly responsible for in the "Here There Be Gerblins" arc. She was also a member of the Redcheek family of halflings, who figured prominently into the one-shot adventure that was guest hosted by the cast of The Flop House.
  • Shout-Out: A couple to Labyrinth — when Taako pulls out a glass sphere of anti-gravity, Travis jokes that, "Inside is the memory of the Goblin King." Before throwing the sphere at the robot housing Magic Brian and Jenkins, Taako says the remind him of somebody. When the two ask who, Taako replies, "You remind me of the babe."
