Hip and Hop Koopa kidnap Queen Mushroomkhamen's son, who has a familiar face, and the golden sarcophagus he's contained in, leading to a mixup between him and Mario.
This episode provides examples of the following tropes:
- Identical Stranger: What leads to Queen Mushroomkhamen to kidnap Mario by accident. He happens to look like her son (if going by the face on the lid of the sarcophagus).
- At the end of the episode, Queen Mushroomkhamen will comment that Luigi looks exactly like her husband. Needless to say, this prompts him to pull a Screw This, I'm Outta Here.
- Lampshade Hanging: Hop points out the similiarity:Hop Koopa: Hey Hip... Does this old prince-mummy-guy look familiar?
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Luigi and the others do this at the end of the episode when the Queen becomes attracted to him due to his resemblance to her husband.
