The Allies prepare for an all-out assault on the massive Neuroi hive over Venice. The battleship Yamato has been outfitted with Neuroi technology aided by the lessons learned in the Warlock fiasco, and will lead the assault with the Strike Witches reduced to a supporting role protecting the battleship. Win and Venezia will be liberated. Lose and the entire Italian peninsula will be abandoned to the Neuroi. Meanwhile, Sakamoto is rapidly losing her magic power due to being drained by the Reppuzan. With battle being the only thing she's ever known, she is determined to go out on her own terms in one last spectacular suicide mission.
