Prisma and Twitch are after another one of the Wicked Nine. This time, it's Maleficent's spindle, which is hidden somewhere in Royal Prep. Meanwhile, the students in Sofia's alchemy class are to perform a spell with a pet as their animal assistant. Sofia wants Clover to be her helper, but all the other animals in the castle want to help her, so she has auditions to see who she can trust. Twitch helps Clover cheat by handing him the ingredients to the spell Sofia wants to perform, which he sees as a way to help Prisma get the spindle.
