Right before an inspection of the Academy, Eon accidentally gets knocked out by Food Fight. With Kaossandra out doing a chore, Sprocket suggests that with the help of her power transporter, she can send two Skylanders inside Eon's body to control him through the inspection, and the task falls onto Jet-Vac and Dark Spyro. Spyro is at first reluctant, but after hearing that this allows him to control Eon's magic, he goes along with it to try and use said magic to open the Wumpan Puzzle Box.

- Failure Montage: Comes up when the Doom Raiders bring up how terrible of a pirate captain Kaos is. He believes north simply means up, easily runs out of gas up in the sky in the middle of nowhere, and leads his crew to plunder a squirrel of all things.
- Small Role, Big Impact: Food Fight doesn't have a single line not only in this episode, but also across the entire season, but he caused the conflict in this episode by accidentally knocking out Eon, and that is what leads to Dark Spyro starting to warm up to the Skylanders again.
