- When Shimazu's Zord appears and begins attacking, Cam deploys a trick that duplicates the Samurai Star Megazord; he can pilot his Zord, while the duplicates get to recombine with with the other Megazords.
- Later, when the other Megazords are disabled and Cam is on his own against Kapri:Cam: Tori, ready to get in this?
Tori: You know it!
- Deadly Dodging: The Thunder Megazord gets walloped by the Lion Laser, after Kapri performs a last-second dodge.
- EMP: Marah and Shimazu's Zords being destroyed exposes the Samurai Storm and Samurai Thunder Megazords to this. They're temporarily disabled, leaving the Samurai Star Megazord alone against Kapri's Zord.
- From Bad to Worse: After the Thunder Megazord is incapacitated, the Storm Megazord can barely handle Kapri's Zord. Just as the Wind Rangers are about to pull it out, Marah and Shimazu intervene.
- Obfuscating Stupidity: Marah and Kapri say they've been doing this the entire time.Kapri: You didn't really think we were as dumb as we act, now did you? I mean, c'mon, no one could be that idiotic.
- Oh, Crap!:
- Marah and Shimazu when their respective Zords get blown up by the Samurai Storm and Samurai Thunder Megazords.
- Kapri when the Dolphin Zord grabs onto her Zord.
- Kapri has another one after that when the Hurricane Ultrazord uses the Mammoth Megazord Blast on the Kaprizord.
- Sibling Rivalry: Hunter and Blake are at odds because of a motocross race for nationals. Blake narrowly wins, but Hunter accuses him of deliberately trying to force him off the track, while Blake says he's just jealous over losing to his little brother. Hunter proceeds to complain to Shane, and Blake to Tori, but the two Wind Rangers are smart enough to not take sides in this fight.
- The Starscream: Marah and Kapri scheme to overthrow Lothor and appear to be working with Vexacus.
- You Have Outlived Your Usefulness:
- Averted with Vexacus. Lothor expresses irritation with Vexacus destroying Motodrone in the last episode, but he acknowledges the bounty hunter is too good a warrior to get rid of and just gives him another warning.
- On the other hand, Shimazu finds he's this to Vexacus now that Zurgane and Motodrone are gone and is desperate to escape before he's killed.
