Zoey accidentally destroys a priceless dinosaur fossil belonging to her older brother, prompting her to risk her life to collect a new one. Meanwhile, Robo-Roxy takes extreme measures to prove herself to Evox.
Tropes:
- Always Need What You Gave Up: Due to Robo-Roxy causing the Robo-Maker machine to blow while upgrading herself, she ends up being destroyed permanently in the subsequent battle. What's more, the next time Robo-Blaze is destroyed will be for keeps as well.
- An Aesop: Just because one feels the need to atone for something, it doesn't mean one has to refuse help from friends who aren't responsible for it.
- Big "NO!":
- Scrozzle's reaction when the robot maker overloads.
- Robo-Roxy's final words.
- Continuity Nod: Devon freezes up when Ben and Betty's dog gets too close to him at the end of the episode.
- Foreshadowing: Evox asks Scrozzle about the progress of his new powerful Gigadrone.
- Immortals Fear Death: Downplayed. Robo-Blaze is initially upset at the destruction of the device that restored them whenever they were destroyed.
- Killed Off for Real: Robo-Roxy is permanently killed off in this episode.
- Make My Monster Grow: In one of the rare instances of this in the series, Robo-Roxy's final form allows her to make herself grow giant size leading to the Rangers summoning the Beast-X King Ultrazord to fight her.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Robo-Roxy's final transformation overloads Scrozzle's robot maker, meaning she and Robo-Blaze can no longer be resurrected. Also, Scrozzle speaking of it in front of Devon allows the Rangers to know this.
- Pet the Dog: Despite his rivalry with Robo-Roxy, Robo-Blaze is genuinely upset when she is killed off for good.
- Tempting Fate: When Robo-Blaze yells at Robo-Roxy for overloading the robot maker, Robo-Roxy gloats that maybe he has to worry about being destroyed, but she isn't worried. She ends up being the one who gets destroyed in this episode.
