- Bait-and-Switch:
- The episode builds up for Treasure Chest to be eliminated... Only for it to be Bubble Wrap instead.
- The Undead Dragon Team is revealed to just be a harmless little dragon... Only for the real one to arrive shortly after.
- Downer Ending:Team 47's campaign comes to an abrupt end due to Journal breaking out in panic and running off. Treasure Chest attempts to talk things out with him, only for Journal to lash out at him and leave anyway. Since the challenge wasn't finished, their team ends up being up for elimination yet again, much to Treasure Chest's dismay.
- Gray Rain of Depression: It rains as Treasure Chest tries(and fails) to convince Journal to stay.
- How the Mighty Have Fallen:Team 47 not only loses the challenge again, but the member count is reduced from 4 to 2 as not only does Bubble Wrap get eliminated, but Ukulele switches over to Team ] because of it.

- All of the characters seen in Team ]'s campaign are either rejected contestants from the previous season, or scrapped characters from the original version of season 2.
- The poorly drawn dragon from "The Paper Pelican" makes its appearance in Team ?'s campaign.
- RPG Episode:The challenge of this episode revolves around playing Battle Dungeon Ultra, a tabletop game with Silver as their Dungeon Master.
