Having learned Zane is not dead, Master Wu prepares to go after him, but Lloyd and the other ninja take matters into their own hands and defy their Master.
- Big "NO!": Pixal ends up having one of these combined with Catapult Nightmare after remembering Zane sacrificing himself to Aspheera in a nightmare.
- Bookends: For the Fire Chapter, beginning and ending with the Ninja facing off with Master Wu, only with the stakes of the fight being much more dire in this case.
- Oh, Crap!: The Ninja have this reaction after seeing Wu is waiting for them at the basement... and wielding the Forbidden Scroll as well in order to stop them from getting to the Never-Realm.
- Poor Communication Kills: Unfortunately, due to Wu's insistence that he goes to the Never-Realm alone, and the Ninja being desparate to get past him so they can go to save Zane themselves, the Ninja don't find out that the reason Wu didn't want them to go is that the Traveler's Tea in Ninjago won't work in the Never-Realm... Which means the Ninja may never return from there.
