Wally made a mask out of cardboard for the upcoming masquerade. He doesn't understand the point of it and decides to see what costumes his friends made. Krash has already made an alien costume for Chiko out of a box, a kettle, carrots, and cans. Chiko doesn't like the costume, however, and Krash suggests to look at the costumes their friends came up with.
Meanwhile, Dokko puts old and worn out rabbit costume on Barry. The bear is also not very happy with his costume. Dokko disagrees, arguing that it's better than a costume of some alien that would be hard to explain to others. Hearing this, Krash suggests Chiko that they'd make costumes of Dokko and Barry.
Wally walks down the path, and Dokko jumps past him. He jumps to Chiko's house, and it turns out that it's actually Krash in Dokko's suit. Chiko doesn't really like his Barry costume, and suggests more elegant character. Wally has also come up with a costume and rushes home. Meanwhile, Dokko takes Rosa's costume out of the suitcase. Barry is outraged, because Dokko made him dress up in a bad rabbit suit, while he chooses a bright and beautiful costume for himself. He also puts on a Rosa costume and goes with Dokko to Carlin's house, where the masquerade takes place.
When they go inside, they see that everybody else is dressed as Rosa too. Wally enters and faints in surprise from what he sees. Carlin brings him water, but suddenly it turns out that the real Wally was among the guests. Wally, sitting on the floor, turns out to be Rosa herself.
Tropes:
- Domino Mask: Wally's original idea for his costume: a black mask made out of cardboard.
- Dresses the Same: Everybody chose to wear the exact same Rosa costume for the masquerade. By the time Dokko and Barry arrive, their friends are unamused. Rosa herself dresses up as Wally, and faints once she sees the costumes her friends came up with.
- Full-Body Disguise: Rosa, Dokko, Barry and Wally costumes made for the masquerade are incredibly realistic. Averted with Krash suit that Barry was going to wear, which was in extremely poor condition.
- Masquerade Ball: Carlin was going to hold it in his house, but everything did not go according to plan, at least because everybody Dresses the Same.
- Screen Shake: When Krash puts a Dokko costume, he still jumps instead of walking. Dokko doesn't usually jump like this, and the costume causes the screen to shake with each jump to emphasize the oddity of this.
