Krash, Chiko, and Rosa decided to spend the whole day on the beach. They're waiting for Wally, but he's still not there. Krash decides to go to his house and wake him up. An alarm clock rings in Wally's house. Wally himself only wakes up from Krash's knocks. Friends go to the sea pushing sleepy Wally with them.

Passing by Carlin's house, Krash notices that Olga is doing exercises, and Carlin is sleeping in his armchair. He wakes up the old crow and asks how could he sleep during the day. Carlin explains that everyone has their own internal clock. Some go to bed and get up early - they're known as the early birds. If it's the contrary, then the person is a night owl. After this revelation, Krash, Chiko and Rosa become understandable of Wally. They swim and play on the beach all day, while the poet continues to sleep.

In the evening, the three are exhausted and dozing on the sand. except for Wally. He calls his friends to play, but they are too tired, and only want to sleep. Wally pushes his friends back to his house to read them some of his new poems, but they are already sleeping soundly on his porch.

Tropes:

  • Dreary Half-Lidded Eyes: Wally's for almost the entire episode, representing tiredness.
  • Freeze-Frame Bonus: In the credits, you can see that Dokko's house has a lights on, and therefore Dokko is also a night owl.
  • The Night Owl: Wally, Carlin (and judging by the credits scene, Dokko) are the night owls.
