On a sunny summer day, a sick Dokko lies in bed, and Barry treats him with honey. Barry wonders how his friend managed to catch a cold at the height of summer and Dokko replies that it's because he was standing next to an open refrigerator. Barry is surprised by his tenderness because he can work in the garden in any weather. Dokko says that this is because we are all born in unequal conditions. Some can be plowed, but others… Barry rejects his explanation and believes that everything is the same for everyone. He decides to start tempering his friend when he recovers.

Dokko is standing in the bathroom and Barry pours room temperature water on him, which makes him scream all over the house. The next day, Dokko sees Barry approaching his house with buckets and tries to lock the door, but the bear enters the house through the window and douses him. Throughout the summer, Barry lies in wait for Dokko in various places and pours water on him despite his protests.

Autumn is coming. Dokko is sitting near an open window and sees a butterfly and a caterpillar, after which an idea comes to him and he begins to draw something on paper. Dokko comes to Barry's house and shows him his poster depicting the origin of species. He tries to prove in this way that everyone is born in unequal conditions, but Barry notices that his friend did not put on a hat despite the fact that it is cold outside. Dokko is surprised to realize that he doesn't feel cold at all. Later, Dokko and Barry play checkers. Barry asks him to close the window from where a strong wind is blowing. Dokko fulfills his request and asks him why, with an equal number of pieces, he constantly wins at checkers, if Barry claims that everything is the same for everyone.
