Kaeloo teaches Stumpy how the Earth moves around the Sun.
"Let's Play Astral Lodging" contains the following tropes:
- An Aesop: Don't take decisions for other people without asking them about it first.
- Artistic License – Physics: Going through a black hole would not send you back in time in reality.
- Brick Joke: At the beginning of the episode, Kaeloo eats a fly. Later, Stumpy gets sucked into a black hole and is shrunk and sent back in time to the beginning of the episode. Now that he looks like a fly from a distance, Kaeloo eats him.
- Getting Eaten Is Harmless: Kaeloo swallows Stumpy after he gets shrunken and she mistakes him for a fly. He's perfectly fine.
- Incredible Shrinking Man: Stumpy gets shrunken after going into a black hole.
- Jerkass Has a Point: Mr. Cat and Quack Quack call Kaeloo out on making decisions for the main four without asking them first, but she points out that she was trying to help Stumpy, and that the show needs some level of educational programming.
- Not What It Looks Like: Kaeloo spins around while simultaneously moving around Mr. Cat, who is asleep on a lawn chair, pretending that he is the Sun and she is the Earth. The constant spinning makes her dizzy, so she falls on top of Mr. Cat, who wakes up to find Kaeloo lying on his body. Kaeloo desperately tries to assure him that it's a misunderstanding and not what he thinks it is.
- Suggestive Collision: Kaeloo gets dizzy from spinning around and falls on top of Mr. Cat.
