The imposter captain reveals himself to be the user of the stand in the water, Dark Blue Moon, and uses it to take Anne hostage. At a cable car station, Jotaro discovers that this isn't a real Kakyoin but a man named Rubber Soul, who used his stand, Yellow Temperance, to take on Kakyoin's form. A blob created from Yellow Temperance attaches to Jotaro's finger, with Rubber Soul telling Jotaro that it will slowly consume his body. on a cable car, Jotaro attemps to heat and later freeze the blob, but to no avail. The two stand users jump of the cable car and land in the water, where Jotaro defeats Rubber Soul. On the desert, the Crusaders feel watched as they notice the sun is still in the sky despite it being 8pm. The sun the Crusaders noticed is actually a stand named sun, which attacks the Crusaders and kills their camels. Sun's rising heat forces the Crusaders to hide under a rock. Kakyoin, Polnareff and even Jotaro start laughing, to Joseph's horror. However, they tell him that they found two identical rocks in the desert. Joseph tries to rent a Cessna plane from a man, but the man refuses because the locals need the plane to get a sick baby to the hospital. Joseph offers that the crusaders take the baby, Mannish Boy, with them, and the locals agree. On the plane, Kakyoin and Polnareff fall asleep and enter the dream world, where they encounter Death Thirteen again. They try to fight back, but they cannot summon their stands in the dream. Polnareff is saved when Polnareff wakes him up to change Mannish Boy's diaper, and Kakyoin realizes that with nobody else on the plane, the baby must be the stand user. Kakyoin moves during his sleep and causes Joseph to crash the plane in the middle of the desert.Kakyoin wakes up and notices the words "Baby Stand" carved on his arm. Kakyoin's attempts to tell the rest of the Crusaders that Mannish Boy is a stand user are brushed of by them, and they believe he's gone mad from the trip, with Polnareff knocking him down. When the Crusaders are asleep, they enter the dream world and encounter Death Thirteen again. The stand attacks the helpless group, but thankfully Kakyoin has summoned Hireophant Green before Polnareff knocked him down, and therefore could use it in the dreamworld and defeat Death Thirteen. On the next morning, Jotaro, Joseph and Polnareff wake up with no memories of the dream, and Kakyoin decides to leave Mannish Boy but a nearby town, but not before feeding the baby with his own feces to teach him a lesson.

Judgement

The Crusaders arrive at an island in the middle of the Red Sea, where they meet none other than Avdol's father. Avdol's father refuses to let them in when he notices that Avdol isn't with them. Polnareff, feeling grief and guilt over Avdol's death, wanders alone on the beach where he finds an oil lamp. He rubs it and a Genie-like figure named Cameo comes out. Polnareff asks to become rich in order to test the Genie's abilities, and when he finds a chest full of gold, decides to ask for two more wishes. Polnareff and Avdol defeat Judgement and find his user, the real Cameo. When they reunite with the rest of the Crusaders, Polnareff is shocked to learn that Jotaro, Joseph and Kakyoin knew that Avdol was alive the whole time and kept it secret in order to hide it from the enemies. The Group gets in a submarine purchased by Avdol to cross the Red Sea.

High Priestess

Inside the submarine, Joseph calls his wife, Suzi Q, and tries to convince her to not fly to Japan to visit Holly, hiding their daughter's condition from her. Regardless of the call, Suzie Q and her butler, Roses (Who knew of Holly's condition), head to Japan anyways.note  The Crusaders are suddenly attacked by a stand called High Priestess, who disguised itself as a mug. High Priestess sinks the submarine and the Crusaders attempt to escape to the surface, but High Priestess turns into a giant face made of rocks and sucks the Crusaders inside its mouth.High Priestess' user, Midler, speaks to the group through her stand. Jotaro manages to escape High Priestess by breaking it's teeth, and the group escapes to the surface, where they find an unconscious, disfigured Midler. But DIO won't enter the battle empty-handed, and assembles a group of nine stand users to attack the Crusaders.

Iggy's Fool and N'Doul's Geb

In Egypt, the Crusaders are welcomed by a Speedwagon Foundation helicopter. SPF members come out of it and introduce the Crusaders to their newest ally, the stand user of The Fool. To the Crusaders' surprise, the stand user turns out to be a dog named Iggy. The SPF members inform the Crusaders of DIO's newly-assembled group, the Egypt Nine Glory Gods, before leaving. The Crusaders continue travelling in the desert and find the SPF helicopter crashed, with it's pilots dead. The Culprit, a blind man named N'Doul, attacks the Crusaders from afar with his stand, Geb, injuring Kakyoin's eyes and injuring Avdol. When Iggy uses The Fool to form a glider, Jotaro hitches a ride so the two can approach Avdol without him hearing their footsteps. Jotaro throws Iggy at N'Doul in order to distract him and attacks him from behind. N'Doul kills himself before Jotaro can interrogate him about the other eight stand users DIO has assembled. Jotaro and Iggy reunite with the rest of the Crusaders and continue their journey in Egypt.

Oingo's Khnum and Boingo's Tohth

As the Crusaders arrive at Aswan, Egypt, to get Kakyoin and Avdol hospitalized, the brothers Oingo and Boingo plan to use their stands Khnum and Tohth in order to attack the Crusaders. Tohth predicts that the Crusaders will be poisoned by tea, so Oingo disguises himself as a cafe waiter in order to poison them. However, when Iggy causes a ruckus in the cafe, the brothers' plan is foiled. Tohth predicts that Jotaro will be killed by a bomb hidden inside an orange. Oingo plants the bomb in the Crusaders' car, but is forced to disguise himself as Jotaro when Joseph and Polnareff arive. As Joseph and Polnareff try to find out if "Jotaro" is okay, Oingo gets out of the car and Polnareff throws the orange-bomb at him. Polnareff visits the Kom Ombo temple and encounters Chaka. Polnareff defeats Chaka and takes the sword. On their way to take the sword to a police station, Jotaro and Polnareff stop at a barbershop, where the sword possesses the barber Khan.Jotaro and Polnareff defeat Khan and break the sword in half, but when a police officer comes to check the situation, Polnareff inadvertently draws the sword and gets possessed by Anubis. Joseph escapes a set of knives and forks that flies towards him, and on an escelator he meets Bastet's user, Mariah. Joseph is magnetized to the escelator, but Avdol saves him from getting crushed by it. However, while they chase Mariah, Avdol realises that he was affected by Bastet when helping Joseph, and the two literally get attached to each other.Joseph and Avdol try to detach themselves from each other, resulting in them making many suggestive poses before falling down into a railroad. Polnareff comes across a Malèna, a young woman who decides to take care of him and give him a bath.Alessi breaks in Malèna's house and reveals that he used Sethan to turn her into a fetus. Sethan turns Polnareff even younger as he tries to protect Malèna. Polnareff manages to attack Alessi and force him out of Malèna's house. Alessi comes across Jotaro and turns him into a kid. Unlike Polnareff, Jotaro can't use even a de-aged Star Platinum because he only obtained the Stand recently. That doesn't prevent him from beating up Alessi. Jotaro, Polnareff and Malèna revert to their adult forms. Malèna tries to find the kid she took care of, and Polnareff keeps his identity secret from her.

When the cat chooses the piece that Polnareff didn't, D'Arby uses his stand, Osiris, to trap Polnareff's soul in a Poker chip. The Crusaders can't fight D'Arby lest he kills Polnareff, so Joseph challenges him on a bet. They put coins inside a glass of whisky, and Joseph bets it'll spill after seven coins, but gets wrong. Osiris traps Joseph in a Poker chip, and Jotaro notices that D'Arby cheated, challenging him for a game of Poker.During their match, Jotaro decides to deal not only Joseph's, Polnareff's and his souls, but also Kakyoin's and even Holly's! Polnareff tries to signal to the three that Hol Horse is behind him. Hol Horse accidentally exposes himself to the Crusaders and runs away. Thoth predicts that Hol Horse will be able to shoot Jotaro at high noon sharp. Hol Horse rushes to a pipe in order to shoot Emperor's bullets into it and kill Jotaro, but the bullets surprisingly miss Jotaro. Hol Horse notices that his watch was too fast and is shot in the face himself. As Boingo is considering a change of heart, Iggy attacks him, resulting in him getting hospitalized with Hol Horse.

Avdol tells the other two that they shouldn't save each other now that the stakes are too high. The three of them enter a labyrinth, and quickly sense a stand user nearby. They defeat a stand user named Kenny G. in one blow and deactivated the illusionary rooms that his stand, Tenore Sax, has created. However, Vanilla Ice quickly ambushes the group, and Avdol shoves Polnareff and Iggy aside as he's consumed by Vanilla Ice's stand, Cream, leaving only his hands.Polnareff and Iggy try to fight Cream, but the stand turns into a ball that consumes anything in it's path into the void. The two escape into the art room, where Cream takes Polnareff's left foot. Polnareff tries to attack Cream, but the battle is interrupted by DIO, who enters the room.
