Tropes
- Cliffhanger: The volume ends with the cliff that Nagi and Hayate are on falling apart.
- Dragged into Drag: Nagi and Maria make Hayate dress in Sailor Fuku, and later a girly cat suit, for their amusement.
- Literal Metaphor: At the end of the volume, the misunderstanding between Nagi and Hayate is compared to a secret flower garden on a cliff. Turns out the flower garden actually was on a cliff.
