The Magnificent Mole Troupe

Despite retiring her duties, Michael finds herself unable to fit in with mortal society in comparison to her fellow primarchs. One day, she and three others with similar aimless aspirations found themselves falling through a hole in a middle of nowhere and unable to get out.

While waiting for rescue, they found a script for a play that happens to be made for a cast of four and acted out the words written on there. Despite all of this, the four would never forget that moment, deciding to meet at the exact same place and brand themselves as the Mole Troupe from then on.

  • Contrived Coincidence: While Falsch intentionally lead Michael, Sariel, and Azrael into the underground burrow, he has no idea that the three are all primarchs and fallen angels.
Falsch: Wow. Am I the only one mortal here?
  • Former Child Star: Falsch used to be an actor in his youth. He's devolved into drinking by the present day.
  • Ignored Epiphany: Raphael tries to use Falsch's carrot picking to teach about how ones own standards can affect their own future. Falsch didn't understand what Raphael was even talking about.
  • I Should Write a Book About This: The event ends with Falsch writing a new script, with the title being "The Magnificent Mole Troupe".
  • One Degree of Separation: Falsch is friends with the bar owner that "saved" him and the rest of the Mole Troupe, used to be friends with the now named Raven Troupe, and works for Raphael as a farmer. The Raven Troupe also happens to be Barawa's client at the time.
  • Poor Communication Kills: The Mole Troupe become accustomed to the underground life due the four never bothering to come clean to themselves. They're forced to eventually come clean once Sariel finished his investigation on their acting grounds and the history behind it.
  • Putting the Band Back Together:
    • Despite the unfavorable circumstances, the Mole Troupe is still passionate about the idea of acting and end up doing it twice, despite Falsch's reluctance.
    • Subverted with the old Mole Troupe/current Raven Troupe. Despite all the conditions allowing Falsch to relive his old days, he decides to throw all of that away at the last minute, preferring the new Mole Troupe since he still wants to act in the dark.
  • Replacement Goldfish: Michael, Sariel, and Azrael becomes this to Falsch's old friends, who currently act as the Raven Troupe. When he's given the chance to act with his old friends once more, the roles are reversed as Falsch reaffirms his want to stay underground.
  • Wham Line: Falsch's actions end up having a much deeper meaning when he states that "the fact they all fell into that hole in the ground was his doing."
  • We Used to Be Friends: The old Mole Troupe's success is the reason why they end up failing. Falsch wanted to keep things the old way while the rest wanted to break out into the industry, causing the former to declare the troupe to be disbanded.
