Donkizari making a little commercial break as the fight starts getting intense.

After Muko's disastrous fight against Nyarai, Adelgund takes it upon herself to punish Nyarai. In a surprising display of strength and experience, Adelgund beats Nyarai in a single blow, forcing her to tag Peki in to remain in the match. The Masato Match turns into a grudge match between the two former tag partners as the history of Team Executor is explored through the eyes of Peki.

  • Bad Boss: Even though Nyarai beats Muko and serves as The Mole to humiliate Cookie, Shun refuses to let her see a doctor or get medical treatment. Subverted as he knows she's going to recover and win the match a few chapters later.
  • Break the Haughty: Nyarai is given a One-Hit Kill by Adelgund, forcing her to wobble out of the ring and tag Peki in as the audience jeers at her, before she passes out in Jowdie's lap.
  • Counter-Attack: Adelgund nails Nyarai with a well-timed knee to the face when Nyarai rushes at full speed at her.
  • Does Not Know His Own Strength: Adelgund accidentally hurting her enemies and her masculine appearance initially drove fighters away from her. It was Peki teaching her how to control her strength that allowed her to turn her situation around.
  • Even Evil Can Be Loved: Despite her brutality and sadism, Nyarai still has a genuine friendship with the Cyclone Crushers. Jowdie cries when she falls unconscious after tagging out with Peki, and places the cheetah's head on her lap.
  • Extremity Extremist: As her "Punching Peki" name suggests, Peki fights by curling her oversized flippers into giant fists for devastating punches.
  • Face: Team Executor was originally a Face team. However, Dinedon decided that Peki couldn't be a Face anymore due to Fantastic Racism against Wilds.
  • Face–Heel Turn: Peki was forced into one by Dinedon to boost the sales of Team Executor by having her become a Heel to be bested by Adelgund and then turned into her Jobber prisoner.
  • Fantastic Racism:
    • As a Wild, Peki was forced by Dinedon to pull a Face–Heel Turn to keep up with the perceptions of the time. Peki was not amused, much less when Adelgund accepted the decision in her stead.
    • Besides the Wilds, there is another marginalized group, called the Kalandesians.
  • Innocently Insensitive: Adelgund didn't seem to realize that volunteering Peki to take a Face–Heel Turn against her will, turn her into a Jobber to promote herself, and ignore her concerns for the sake of the team was not something Peki wanted in the first place.
  • Jobber: To keep up with her prisoner persona, Peki was incapable of using her true strength to let Adelgund take the spotlight.
  • Killer Bear Hug: Adelgund gives Peki one after the Exe-Cutie-Ves grab Peki's leg. She crushes Peki in her hold, demanding why she betrayed her. Peki angrily responds that she betrayed her first.
  • Moral Myopia: Lampshaded when Adelgund gets an advantage against Peki by having a couple of Exe-Cutie-Ves grab her leg so that Adelgund can restrain her. One fan wonders if Adelgund technically cheated by getting outside assistance, but another fan believes that Peki deserves it for betraying Adelgund.
  • One-Hit Kill: Adelgund takes out Nyarai with a single knee strike to the face, breaking her nose and making her pass out from blood loss.
  • Origins Episode: This chapter focuses on how Team Executor became the Masato Champion, and how Peki was forced to become a Jobber and take a Face–Heel Turn while Adelgund became a symbol of justice.
  • Poor Communication Kills: The tragedy of this chapter shows how the fall of Team Executor could have been avoided if Peki could have been more open about her feelings by talking about them rather than being passive-aggressive, and if Adelgund had been more receptive to Peki's concerns by listening to her rather than dismissing her words.
  • Product Placement: Donkizari is promoting her own brand of soda called Donko-Brew in the first page of the chapter.
  • Red Baron: Peki recovers her original Punching Peki name back after nailing Adelgund with a punch to escape her Killer Bear Hug and call her out on her mistreatment of her.
  • She-Fu: Downplayed, as Peki only uses her acrobatics to get away from Adelgund and resorts to punching and chops with her flippers when she goes on the offensive.
  • Slide Attack: Peki slides beneath Adelgund's legs to escape a grapple.
  • Waif-Fu: Peki is the smallest fighter of the Masato Match, but she can still punch hard enough to hurt Adelgund.
