The Chip Part II: The conclusion to the story of Freakazoid’s origins.

Freakazoid is History!: A strange mishap sends Freakazoid back in time to Pearl Harbor during World War II. Can Freakazoid's sense of justice alter history itself? Can he take his eyes off the hula girls long enough to do so?

Tropes Found in “The Chip Part II”:

  • All Men Are Perverts: Cosgrove suggests that Freakazoid become a superhero. Freakazoid is reluctant, until told that it will impress girls.
  • Brick Joke:
    • The short concludes with the previously promised footage of a man fighting a bear.
    • Freakazoid previously kept wanting to go get a snow cone. He gets his wish upon meeting Cosgrove.
  • Christmas Episode: Just like with part I, this episode qualifies, as its events take place on Christmas Day.
  • I Lied: Guitierrez doesn’t even let Roddy finish saying “You Said You Would Let Them Go” when he responds with this.
  • Manly Tears: Freakazoid's response to Roddy's eloquent letter is "That made water come out my eyes."
  • Previously on…: The episode opens with a brief recap of the previous episode.
  • Throw the Dog a Bone: Freakazoid is depressed after Roddy is gone.
Cosgrove: You've done a good job here, kid.
    Freakazoid: [glumly] Thanks.
Cosgrove: Say, you wanna go out for a snow cone?
Freakazoid: [excitedly] Do I ever! [hugs Cosgrove]
  • Voluntary Shapeshifting: Just as Guitierrez’s men are about to eliminate him and Roddy, a terrified Dexter exclaims, “I’m… freaking out!” This is what finally stabilizes his Involuntary Shapeshifting from the previous episode.
  • You Said You Would Let Them Go: When Guitierrez orders his men to eliminate Roddy, Dexter and the Douglas Family, Roddy starts saying this. Guitierrez is quick to cut him off with “I Lied.”

Tropes Found in “Freakazoid is History!”:

  • All Men Are Perverts: "Hula girls!"
  • Artistic License – History: Freakazoid prevents World War II from happening by diverting a group of Japanese planes that were targeting Pearl Harbor. In reality, World War II had already been going on for two years, with Pearl Harbor being the incident that resulted in The United States finally entering the war.
  • Comically Missing the Point: Seeing sights that immediately spell out Hawaii, Freakazoid is certain that he somehow landed in Norway.
  • Crossover Punchline: The last change to the timeline that we see is the President now being The Brain, while Pinky is trying to fly Air Force One.
  • Hula and Luaus: "Waves. Hula girls!, Pineapples. Hula girls! Surfboards. Hula girls! Hula girls! Hula girls!"
  • Law of Time Travel Coincidences: In "Freakazoid is History", Freakazoid is transported back to just before the attack on Pearl Harbor and decides to stop Japan's attack on Hawaii.
  • Take That!: Seeing one of the changes to the timeline, a surprised Freakazoid remarks, "She's good. She's really good. Sharon Stone can act!"
