Yep, this all looks fine...

Fargo: At the rate the bank is losing mass, by tonight we'll have to call NASA to make a withdrawal.

Carter investigates a bank robbery like no other as objects in Eureka start floating into space.

Meanwhile, rivarly sparks between Fargo and Dr. Parrish as Jo leads the fitness training for the Astreus candidates.

  • Ask a Stupid Question...: Played With; Henry's question is proven perfectly valid when he points out that, in Eureka, most transactions are electronic.
Henry: Why would anybody steal a bank?
Carter: Because that's where they keep the money?
  • Call-Back:
    • While in Drill Sergeant Nasty mode, Jo asks the Astreus candidates if they want to go to space. She then looks at Zane and adds, "on purpose?" Later, she asks Zane why he wants to go to space again after what he went through.
    • After hearing the bank has been robbed, Carter is thrilled that he has a normal crime to investigate; "No blob, no wormhole..."
  • Chekhov's Gun: The Higgs field defuser listed among the stolen items is from Dr Parrish's collection of vintage physics equipment. Sure enough, it combined with antimatter to float the bank.
  • Cliffhanger: Beverly Barlowe is using the neural implant she put in Allison's brain to control her body for unknown purposes.
  • Drill Sergeant Nasty: Jo as fitness trainer.
Jo: Let's go, people! Stop looking like a bunch of little girls in your panties.
  • Eating the Eye Candy: Holly and Jo enjoy an eyeful of Zane working out.
    Holly: Impressive musculature and stamina.
Jo: Yeah, if you like that sort of thing.
  • Exact Words: Carter is thrilled when Andy tells him that someone has robbed the bank and he has a normal crime to deal with for once. Turns out he meant that the bank itself has been stolen.
Carter: [Answering phone] Hey, Andy, let me guess. There's a quantum, run-away, something-or-other. [Beat] Somebody did what? [Beat] I'll be right there. [Hangs up] Somebody robbed a BANK! YEEEAAAHHH! [Runs out punching the air]
Vincent: Should he really be happy about that?
Carter: [Outside] No blob, no wormhole, just a good, old-fashioned bank robbery!
Andy: You seem down right perky, boss.
Carter: Yeah! We're gonna take fingerprints! We're going to do tire impressions! We're going to interview... [Sees a large hole where the bank was] ... witnesses. Uh, Andy?
    Andy: Yeah, boss?
Carter: You said there was a bank robbery.
Andy: Yep, someone took it last night.
    Carter: Of course they did.
  • Innocent Innuendo: Holly, naturally. When Fargo is perturbed that she and Dr. Parrish have been spending time together, she tells him that Parrish "Showed me his equipment. It was enormous!" Fargo, who's running tires, faceplants before finding out she means antique physics equipment.
  • Jerkass Has a Point: Dr. Parrish, when brought up on his storing of dangerous technology in a bank.
Carter: Hey! It disrupts... the Higg's Field! You should put it somewhere safe!
Dr. Parrish: Oh, you mean like in a bank?
Carter: Yeah, that's... I see your point.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Solving the antigravity problem removes the interference it was causing, allowing Beverly to take over Allison's body entirely.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Allison cooked the wrong breakfast for Kevin. She's also having memory problems, accidentally leaving Kevin and Jenna alone for hours. She figures out that she has neural implants, but not before they take over altogether.
  • Opening Shoutout: A shot of cars and even some buildings rising from the high street while Carter looks on echoes the series' opening credits.
  • Running Gag: Henry treats Carter's Jeep with an indestructibility spray because he's sick of fixing it. The spray makes the car subject to the floating effect and it ends up in space.
  • Shout-Out:
  • Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Dr. Parrish, storing a Higgs Field Disruptor in a safety deposit box. Meanwhile, Dr. Boyle, storing antimatter in a safety deposit box that turns out to be very close to Dr. Parrish's box. Turns out those things shouldn't be stored together...
  • Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: Realising he's going to have to reach the floating bank to undo the antigravity effect, Carter almost whimpers, "why is it always heights?"
