When Kara realizes she needs to be in two places on the same night at a dinner with a major investor in the startup of her parents and at the concert of her favorite band, the Malevolent Maniaxe at the Lazarus Pit, she calls for backup in the form of Bizarro Kara.

- Dinner with the Boss: A variant; Mr. Danvers is having an important dinner with Ted Kord to pitch his products for the youth market, and he wants Kara as a youth to back him up. While Ted is unimpressed by his products because Mr. Danvers does not get teens, he is greatly impressed by his scientific knowledge and ends up hiring him.
- Exact Words: Kara tells Bizarro Kara to, when in doubt, ask herself "What would Kara (or as Bizarro calls her, "Ugly Girl") do?" Bizarro Kara figured that what "Ugly Girl" would do is blow off the meeting and go to the concert too.
- Hidden Depths: As it turns out, Bizarro Supergirl is a big fan of Up Past 8 (presumably because it's the opposite of rock 'n roll). She's also unexpectedly insightful about Kara, as shown above in Exact Words.
- Insistent Terminology: Superman insists on calling it periwinkle Kryptonite, not purple.
- Kryptonite Is Everywhere: Jeremiah manages to simulate the effects of periwinkle Kryptonite by accident.
- Two-Timer Date: Kara promised her foster father to attend the meeting with Jeremiah on Friday, the same night of the Malevolent Maniaxe concert. She decided to have Bizarro Kara to attend the meeting while she went to the concert. Needless to say, it doesn't work out.
