Tropes in this chapter:
- Adaptational Early Appearance: Inori's monster form from the canon episode 18 appears in the episode 12 adaptation after being saved by Shu from Keido's clutches.
- Beach Episode: For the Episode 8 adaptation.
- Cliffhanger: The end shows Yuu claiming Gai's soul for GHQ/Da'ath's next phase, and Mana's soul has successfully entered Inori's body
- Intermission: The title said it all of recapping the events of Episodes 8 through 12.
- Wham Episode: Just like in the canon show, these are a series of wham events going from Jun's death to Shu remembering all his past.
