- "Pop!" (2022)
Filmography:
- Dream High 2 (cameo as Jung Ui-bong's dance partner) (2012)
Trope, trope, trope! Uh-uh!:
- Album Closure: Jazzy ballad "Sunset" closes her self-titled EP.
- Auto-Tune: Noticeable in the English song "No Problem", presumably to reduce her accent.
- Busby Berkeley Number: There are some shots of pool dancers in the last third of the "Pop!" video.
- Dance of Romance: Mentioned in Felix’s verse in "No Problem"."Come ride with me,
We can dance tonight
Yeah under the stars tonight" - Double-Meaning Title: Im Nayeon means both her full name and "I am Nayeon."
- Happy Birthday to You!: Alluded to, at least in a figurative sense, with a song with that name."Congratulations on your present day like a gift to me" (English translation)
- Intercourse with You: "Candyfloss" is not entirely about candy."That candyfloss, I love the most, it spreads in my mouth
Everywhere that spreads on my tongue, the light turns on
Dip it in, get a taste, dazed just by touching it, hey
That candyfloss I love the most that, ooh yeah, candyfloss" - Ms. Fanservice: She puts on a cute-sexy image with an Unlimited Wardrobe of revealing outfits in the "Pop!" video.
- Self-Titled Album: Im Nayeon
- Solo Side Project: Nayeon continues to be, first and foremost, a member of TWICE. The group's Between 1&2 EP was released just two months after Nayeon's self-titled solo EP.
- Soprano and Gravel: in "No Problem" Nayeon's bright and cute voice contrasts with Felix's husky voice.
- Title-Only Chorus: "Pop!" - The "uh-uh" is more scatting than anything else."Pop, pop, pop! Uh-uh!"
- Unlimited Wardrobe: She wears over ten different outfits in the "Pop!" video.
- A Wild Rapper Appears!: On an album with no rapping elsewhere:
- Felix of Stray Kids shows up on "No Problem"
- Korean soloist Wonstein has a rap on "Love Countdown"
