- Fourth Wall Greeting: The cast addresses the audience directly at the beginning of the show to welcome them.
- Hands Play In Theater: Taking advantage of dark theaters for flirtation tactics.
- The Heckler: Someone who goes to a live performance (comedy, musicians) and annoys whoever's on stage.
- Hero Stage Show: A live performance of an In-Universe Superhero show.
- Intermission: A break in the middle of a long film or show.

- "Let's Watch Our Show" Plot: The characters in-universe view their own work from out-of-universe.
- Missed the Recital: A character tries and fails to make it to a loved one's big performance.

- "No Talking or Phones" Warning: In-Universe examples of theaters trying to discourage disruption with an announcement beforehand.
