Minus World: New Game Plus is a collaborative timeline on AlternateHistory.com that asks "What if there was a successful Philips and Nintendo Collaboration?".
Minus World contains examples of:
- In Spite of a Nail: Final Fantasy V is still a cartridge exclusive ITTL.
- Laser-Guided Karma: EA loses the rights to the Madden franchise after a lawsuit filed by Sega, giving the latter exclusivity over NFL video games and EA loses out on billions that their OTL and P2S counterparts got.
- Regional Bonus: In-Universe:
- Many games that remain Japan-only IOTL are localized much earlier ITTL, such as Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light, which gets a localized NES release in three languages.
- Sweet Home (1989) gets an uncut localized NES release ITTL, inspiring Stephen King to allow games based on his work.
- Star Fox is released for the SNES-CD, using hand-drawn animated cutscenes rather than the Muppets the game used in Player Two Start.
- As a result of EA losing a lawsuit from Sega, Nintendo retains the video game rights to the MLB.
- Polished Port: In-Universe, the SNES-CD port of Dark Castle is a massive improvement over the Genesis version.
- Round Robin: The timeline is a collaboration between randomdsdevel, Nivek, CourtlyHades296 and other writers.
- Sequel First: In-Universe, the SNES version of Final Fantasy IV retains its title, and launches in the US before the NES version of Final Fantasy III.
- Spared by the Adaptation: Unlike his Player Two Start counterpart, Shigeru Miyamoto lives ITTL.
- General Leo survives TTL's version of Final Fantasy VI
- Ultimate Universe: This series is such to Player Two Start, combining elements of it and OTL.
