While My Little Goat has a very ominous and heartbreaking tone, the short does contains some very heartfelt and genuinely sweet moments behind its darkness, making this short a very unique take on The Wolf and the Seven Young Kids.

- After the Title Drop we see a human child (Natsuki) being taken against his will by Mother Goat in an Ambiguous Situation. Scared of the new home, the boy tries to leave until she lovingly embraces him before waking up her children. Natsuki hesitatingly wanted to follow her in for another hug.
- Natsuki giving Lecon (the eldest of the goat kids) his coat after seeing her crying after getting scared at her own reflection.
- Lecon refusing to allow Natsuki's father to rape him, even when her younger brothers and sisters are knocked out of the fight.
- After Mother Goat tasers Natsuki's father, who is very close to raping him, she immediately gives Natsuki a very warm and comforting hug. Natsuki hugs her back as he starts crying with Mother Goat responding by gently brushing his hair, which is followed by the six goat children all hugging their mother and Natsuki. The fact that he's not her first-born Toruku, and that she may or may not have known that from the beginning, is irrelevant to the doting mother: he is already her 'Toruku'.
- Lecon wiping Natsuki's tears away and smiling at him emphasizing everything will be alright.
- The goat children in their new coats happily promising Mother to behave themselves in her absence. Natsuki is staring solemnly out the window, then smiles for the first time, as he goes to play with his new brothers and sisters.
