Surviving Aincrad

• Mercury, in an attempt to have more powerful ways of dealing with Youma, has taken to making Spell Cards, which none of the others have even figured out where her ideas are coming from.

Waltz of the Unseelie Court

• Rameses manages to get Dragged into Drag quite often (almost as often as Kirito), usually for managing to annoy Asuna. Lampshaded by Rei that it happens to him often enough that if it happens any more often she's going to begin to wonder if he likes it.
  • Also, Silica's reactions to Rameses being in drag.
• Kebechet's first meeting with Umi has the two of them get into an argument involving a lot of name calling, with Kebechet trying to avoid using foul language. Both Silica and Rameses note that Umi won it when she almost made Kebechet slip.
• Sasha and Ashley^note  Sakura Kinomoto and Tomoyo Daidouji respectively head to the SAO Survivor School to meet Krito and Asuna when they find him being bothered by Kikuoka. After Kirito asks why they're here, and telling them he is tired of Kikuoka's questions, Ashley, not happy about how the school uniforms look, decides to ask Kikuoka who designed the uniforms.
  Kikuoka: Why does that matter?
  Ashley:Because I am Ashley the Tailor and, to put it politely, the uniform is an eyesore.
  Kikuoka: Um..
  Sasha: From your reaction, it looks like you were the one to put it together…
  Kikuoka: [Gulping]
  Sasha: Ashley, remember, no killing.
  Ashley: Of course. I’m sure the government needs him for something.
  Kirito: If you can manage to get them to redo the uniforms, I’ll be very happy. The less white the better.
• During the Epilogue:
  • Hakonia, a healer from Aincrad is chewing out Heathcliff for letting Kirito go out on his own to fight Queen Beryl when all of a sudden:
    Rameses: Captain, Titania sent me over to give you her preliminary reporohshit. Healer Hakonia… um… how are things with you this day?
    Hakonia: Rameses Soulfire, I see you managed to keep your foolish ass alive, and not from a lack of idiocy on your part, from what I’ve heard. [while pointing to a chair] Now, sit down. I will look you over and see what you did to yourself this time.
  • Then as Rameses is trying to get out of being examined by her:
    Hakonia: Chair. Sit. Knowing you, you damn idiot boy, you would downplay any injuries you have to make it seem as if you have a bigger fucking pair than you actually do have, if you didn’t manage to get turned into a eunuch by an Avyavastheya Racanegaḷu.
    Rameses: Oi! Listen here, you bitchy old water sprite- grrk!
    Hakonia: [While having Rameses firmly gripped by the throat] I said sit, you little shit, or I will break your legs and make you a patient here.
    Heathcliff: [Thoughts as he heads in the other direction] Sorry, Rameses, but you’re on your own here.

Black Sniper

• Kirito is in a middle of a meeting with Kikuoka talking about some deaths that have been happening to Gun Gale Online players, when suddenly a Droid shows up. When Kirito arrives at the scene to deal with the creature:
  Kirito: Who are you, and what do you want?
  Droid: [Roars like one of the Regi Pokemon]
  Kirito: Well, safe to say that it is not a Youma.
• Kirito and Asuna meet Sinon while playing Gale Gun Online and decide to team up with her to take on a dungeon boss. Asuna decides to go on ahead to take a look at the boss, leaving Kirito and Sinon alone. When she gets back and sees Sinon glaring at Kirito:
  Asuna: Did something happen?
  Kirito: Nothing, Asuna-hime.
  Sinon: Nothing?! Your boyfriend is a Troll!
  Kirito: I still say Asuna-hime is worse…
  Asuna: [while smiling at Kirito in a sweet tone of voice] What was that, Kirito-kun?
  Kirito: My Asuna-hime is an angel?
  Asuna: That’s what I thought you said.
• Some fun with Sinon:
  • She is in a middle of a sniping mission against some players when she happens to notice that one of the members of the group she is targetting happens to be LLENN, a player that despite being small and dressed in a pink uniform, is renowned for her fighting abilities in GGO and killed another player (Pitohui) in game by ripping their throat out, with her teeth. Sinon's reaction when she sees her:
    Sinon: [Thinking] Fuck! It’s LLENN! Why me, why?
  • Then after a ten minutes of chasing each other around Sinon finally gets close enough to LLENN to pick her up so she can finish her:
    Sinon: I believe that means I win.
    LLENN: Not quite.
    [LLENN drops a Grenade that kills them both]
    LLENN: [After Respawning] Whooo! What a trip!
• Later on Sinon when asks LLENN about her attempt to kill Pitohui:
  LLENN: Pito-chan was underestimating me and normally while I don’t mind. Pito-chan is one of my best friends. And I don’t want my friends to underestimate me. She’s also plays as a bit of a psychopath in this game, milking the PvP everyone for themselves aspects of it for all they’re worth. And a bit of GIFT, I think. She might enter the BoB, so watch out.
  Sinon: But wasn’t ripping her throat out a bit on the extreme side?
  LLENN: Nah, Pito knows better, so I had to punish her. I’m ready to go, how about we get to work?
  Sinon: [Downs her drink in one go.] That the rumor also boosts your own reputation as a badass has nothing to do with it, I’m sure.
• Kirito, realizing how effeminate his GGO avatar is, has Asuna pick out the outfit he will wear during the BoB to mess with the heads of other players as he knows she will pick an outfit for battle that is as feminine as she can find for GGO. His outfit is the same outfit that Asuna wore in the game, Fatal Bullet.
• Kyouji goes to tackle Shino for rejecting his advances when Karen all of a sudden shows up to stop him.
  Karen: [while picking Kyouji off of her] You alright, Sinon?
  [Shino realizes who her savior is]
  Shino: [shocked] …LLENN?
  Karen: Yup! [pushs Kyouji to the ground and sits on him] Name’s Kohiruimaki Karen. Nice to meet you.
  Shino: No wonder you had to be so extreme with Pitohui…

Non-Canon/Apocrypha

• The series of omake where Lux had to face Minako's seven evil exes. Sounds familiar? Well, to the characters too, considering the continuous references (including Minako singing We Hate You Please Die and Black Sheep)...
  • First: Felix. Who ends up being just as pathetic as Patel.
  • Second: Ace's ghost. Who didn't actually want to be involved... And was forced to read a yaoi fic about himself.
  • Third: Yaten. Who isn't actually evil, it's just that Minako thought she was cheating on her... And dumped her into a river.
    • Minako abusing the fact she's bisexual to refer to Yaten with homophobic slur.
      “Hey, I have an insult privilege, I’m using it.”
  • Fourth: Asai Tsutomu, who has reinvented himself as a volley ninja... And who Minako left because she had accidentally broken his pelvis with a blowjob. He's also insane.
    • How is he defeated? He's disintegrated by a passing Galaxia, who wanted to thank Lux for giving her directions. Even Usagi found that one weird.
  • Fifth and sixth: Tiger's Eye and Hawk's Eye, that Minako was dating at the same time. You can guess how it ends.
  • Number seven, and ringleader: MORTE.
• Adding to the omakes dealing with the Ship Tease between Lux and Venus, PoH being an Abhorrent Admirer who is smitten by how effective in battle they are.
  • And one case where Jadeite is used as a bludgeon against Youma and PoH as well.
• At some point in the past, Minako had the Mooncats make Happy Cat alarms for the Senshi.
• Having seen how ambiguous Minako and Lux get during training, Asuna set up a mock wedding for them. Having read The Betrothed and taking advantage of Boxy being a Catholic priest, they walk up to him and declare "Father, in presence of these witnesses, this is my wife. NOT!", taking advantage of old Catholic laws to actually enter into a Catholic marriage until the "not" invalidates the formula (The Betrothed used that precise loophole as a plot point). A lesbian Catholic marriage. Boxy is suitably horrified...
• In 2018 Minako gets the administration of Shinjuku Station to put up a blackboard like the one in City Hunter and provide her the camera feed of "when the woman that looks like a kitsune will write on it". In 2025, Lila, being at that station for other reasons, notices the blackboard, runs at it giggling and writes "XYZ" on it before catching herself, at which point she flips the bird at the camera. Because she knows Minako is behind it.
  • Lila claims that Saeba Ryo from City Hunter is effectively Minako's ideal man, and hers. She then states that he's probably Lux' as well, considering she's after Minako...
• The many disastruous omiai (encounters to prepare an Arranged Marriage) Lux is put into by her parents to try and keep Minako away from her. Encounters that normally collapse by themselves due them being inadequate or, in one glorious occasion, the perspective fiance turning out being Minako's fan.
  • So far, only one didn't collapse by itself, as her parents this time found someone intelligent, funny (calling his old high school "like Sparta Institute minus the madness"), and a martial artist, in a no-contact Karate style. So of course Hiyori tricked him in a match against a practitioner of a full-contact style... With Muay Thai rules.
    • The perspective fiance's style: Omega Kai. And in spite of that, it's actually a serious style and not a belt factory... Though Lux and other SAO survivors find it weird for being no contact.
    • The identity of the guy who beat up the perspective fiance: Minoru Kohinata. They were at the Thai restaurant with actual Muay Thai matches that he goes to...
  • The reason for the omiai: Lux' parents think Minako is a Gold Digger and wants to take advantage of their naive, young and traumatized daughter and her wealth, not aware in the slightest that it's Lux who is trying to seduce Minako (or that she's well off).

Side Stories

• During the clean-up of the surviving youma between "Waltz of the Unseelie Court" and "Black Sniper", Uranus versus the Gingerbread Youma. Who, as expected, is fast as her, and too weak for her to throw a World Shaking in spite of her Destructive Saviour tendencies... Up until it runs into a lamppost.
  • How did it happen? Well, apparently the first thing Lila did after arriving in Tokyo was to make that precise lamppost invisible to get some Slap Stick at the expense of the Ginberbread Youma, and is now enjoying the show while wondering about Uranus' reaction to learning she can do magic and calling her "Sailor Culetto".
• The first time Usagi went to the Moon, Jupiter wanted to declare she now was really the Moon Rabbit (as she did in the manga)... But by the time she finds her she's already about to make mochi for the same joke.
• Lila Rossi setting up her first encounter with Asuna and other SAO players in such a way to impress them while also dodging Usagi's attempts at Glomping her... Then she hears Kirito's real name, that sounds exactly like an Italian word translating as "he of the big dick" and doubling as "badass", and falls down laughing before Usagi glomps her.
• Lila's birthday present for Minako: a green 1966 convertible Ford Thunderbird, complete of very realistic reproductions of the guns used by the protagonists of Thelma & Louise, for use with Lux. After pointing out it's a few years earlier to make such jokes with her and Lux, Minako has to ask just how much did Lila spend on that gag.
  • The Christmas present, a 1999 Suzuki Hayabusa, was well accepted-and it gave Haruka fits of envy.
• In 2035, Minako and Lux finally get married... In a Catholic ceremony. Because nobody had actually bothered to write down in Catholic canon law that it's forbidden, and any Bible-based argument got dismantled easily.
  • Boxy's utter "screw it" attitude toward his superiors as he celebrates the wedding for their failure to write down it was forbidden in spite of the warnings they had.
  • What makes it funnier is that Minako and Lux intentionally scheduled the wedding date to be April 1 specifically so the Church Authorities would be unlikely to take it seriously until it was too late, which Boxy knew was the reason why they chose that date when they came to him to schedule the event in the first place.
• The Reveal that Minako can mistake a reference to The Tale of Genji for one to Italian literature, as long as names aren't made.
• One of the pieces of Ship Tease between Minako and Lux is when Minako finds herself considering taking Lux with her at M's Pop Life... That is, the world's largest sexy shop. The fact she pulled this kind of stunts all the time in the anime only makes it better.
• According to Minako, Lila's scooter is so cool it had to be toned down to be street legal - or legal in general. What is said scooter? A Piaggio Vespa 150 TAP whose anti-tank coiless rifle has been deactivated.
• The Imagine Spot of Minako as a Chuunibyou. And then Minako admits she did it once at a party, and it was one of the rare times Lila was too lost for words.
