Everything has a bit of humor somewhere, no matter what some may think, and Sonichu is no exception. As much of Chris-Chan's attempts at "humor" involve her directly quoting (or mis-quoting) content from TV shows and Movies of her liking, most of the humor tends to be Narm.
- The Axe ad in Episode 2.Rosechu: Did you bathe?Sonichu: No, my heartsweet, I used the Orion scent!Rosechu: Then, can I orbit your belt?
- This, from the introduction of Angelica -Nun: Yes, He [God] gave you a great script to follow.
- And from Punchy's, Nabe's lesson in film editing - "Now we will perfect our chopping technique. You never know when you'll need to cut a movie."
- Pretty much anything said by Jerkhief.
- "HEY GUYS, WHAT'S DA UPDATE?"
- "My wooden badge was delicious!"
- "My soul hurts!"
- At the end of Issue 6, Comic!Chris gives a long speech about the DVD Chris made about her life, only to end it with "This DVD will not be sold anywhere; that's a no-brainer. ;)"
- The explanation of Sonichu's and Rosechu's anatomy at the beginning of Sonichu #8 reads like a parody of middle school sex ed.
- The Incredible Lioness (Rosechu's form when she's angry ala Hulk) is seen by some as too hammy to take seriously.
- Sonichu mistakes hand-drawn pornography of himself and Rosechu for photographs. In any other comic, this would be a tongue-in-cheek, self-aware meta-joke (since to a comic book character, artwork drawn in the same style as the comic would be indistinguishable from photo-realism), but it's kind of hard to imagine Chris Chan intended it as such.
- In the epilogue of Episode 20, the comic lampshades its abuse of Walls of Text in what is either a rare moment of self-awareness or unprecedented laziness:"Fifteen minutes of dialogue, and a transformation, later..."
- Inos. Every word out of his mouth.
