• When he came back to Old School Raw on January 6, 2014, as he prepares to drop a snake on Dean Ambrose, you can clearly hear CM Punk telling him "It's PG, Jake. Keep it PG."
  • Jake was motioning that he was going to stuff the snake into Ambrose's tights, which is when Punk intervened.
• During Jake's "born again Christian" run in the late 1990s, he had a feud with Jerry Lawler, who would make fun of Jake's battle with alcoholism. During one episode of Monday Night Raw at the time, Lawler challenged Jake to a match, and Roberts came out, apparently drunk out of his mind. While Lawler egged him on, both a referee and Gorilla Monsoon, in his stint as commissioner, tried to keep Jake out of the ring due to his state. When Jake had his back to Lawler, he immediately revealed that he was faking, and was tricking Lawler. Monsoon and the ref then played along and "reluctantly" let Roberts into the ring, where he proceeded to curb-stomp the King.
• During their rivalry in 1988, Rick Rude got in the habit of wearing a set of wrestling trunks that had the caricature of Jake's wife, Cheryl, on them when the man was making advances on her. In a promo, Jake warned Rick that he would strip those trunks off him if he wore them again to the ring. Upon showing the particular set of trunks off again following a match, Rick found himself attacked from behind by Jake who stripped him of his trunks and desperately ran off while trying to cover himself up.
  • At one point in the rivalry Cheryl cold cocked Rude when he tried to kiss her. Jake later quipped that Rick told him backstage after that she hits harder than he(Jake) does.
• His blindfold match with Rick Martel at Wrestlemania VII. The match was about as stupid as it sounded (and, as both said later, they knew it) but due to the talent and professionalism of both men it was a lighthearted, entertaining match.
• At the time of the 1992 Royal Rumble, Jake was firmly in a feud with Randy Savage. Every time the clock wound down for a new entry, the crowd would count along and a buzzer would go off, and every time, Jake would stop whatever he was doing and watch the entryway. When it came time for Savage to come out, as soon as Jake saw Savage sprinting down the aisle, Roberts just about slithered out of the ring under the bottom rope.
• "Ribbing" is a wrestling jargon for practical jokes and pranks. The British Bulldogs were the most noted and infamous in the locker rooms doing so back in the day. Jake has told a story involving them and their mascots: One night before a match, Jake caught them tossing lit cigarettes into Damien's bag to anger the ophidian so much that Jake had a rough time dealing with it. So in retaliation, Jake fed Matilda with lots of chilli dogs on laxative, timing it so Matilda's bowels unleash their load by the time they were back in the hotel. The Bulldogs on the other hand, had different plans. Jake went to their room to knock on the door every few minutes, and every time poor Matilda unloaded torrents of literal Excrement Statement over the soon-to-be-non-pleased brits' floor. By the time the Bulldogs were back, they could find the author ROTFL as they were cleanning all that Potty Failure.
