    Animated Series/Films
  • The narrators realizing they're running out of time for the first episode, so they opt to quickly cram in the information Ashlynn and Hunter are secretly dating, there's a giant named Tiny and the headmaster has a brother who's trapped in an underground library beneath the school.
  • During the "Legacy Day" episode, there's a brief panning shot over all the students as Raven freezes them in time. The (future) Rebels are cheering, the Royals are booing, everyone else is shocked or terrified...and Kitty is just sitting there, filing her nails, not even looking at the chaos erupting around her.
  • In the "Stark Raven Mad" webisode, Raven loses her temper and accidentally turns Headmaster Grimm into a chicken with a human head. He and Apple are delighted that Raven's living up to her villainous destiny!
    • When Kitty disappears she leaves her smile for a split second over a painting that bares an uncanny resemblance to Mick Jagger.
  • Cedar Wood find Ashlyn Ella and Hunter Huntsman on a secret date in the woods. They try to deny it, but Cedar keeps finding proof, which leads to this gem:
(Reads from) letter: Dear Ashlyn, I'm so glad we're secretly dating, Love, Hunter Huntsman.
  • Hunter's kind of a walking CMoF, from his perpetual failure to best his squirrel arch-nemesis to the Huntsman family traditions: The Huntsman Defense Stance (hair tossed by the breeze!), and the Huntsman-To-The-Rescue-Move, which is just tearing off one's shirt while a dramatic fanfare plays.
Hunter was never sure where those trumpets were or what magic made them play. But he liked them.
    • In the book series, Cupid is noted to be in the list of those who "Don't Mind One Bit" and eagerly watches.
  • Headmaster Grimm attempting to secretly "prove" various school legends, especially the part where he tries to shoo a griffon by poking it with a stick.
  • Cupid handily bypasses Headmaster Grimm's order not to tell anyone about the secret True Hearts Day Dance using charades. Briar somehow manages to decipher the entire thing, word for word, as Cupid goes through a ridiculous, ambiguous set of motions. Then she gets so excited she shouts about the secret dance, loud enough to echo throughout the entire school.
  • The interview montage in True Hearts Day part 2 about student's opinions on Ashlynn and Hunter dating:
    • Raven thinking it's just "hexcellent" while Apple cries hysterically into her pillow in the background.
    • Cerise eating a gigantic turkey leg, and Sparrow attempting to steal it before she scares him off by growling at him.
    • Daring giving his opinion while holding a sword-and-shield—he's fighting a dragon. Made funnier when the dragon interrupts him with a blast of fire, and he drops his equipment and voices his outrage at the rudeness. The dragon whimpers.
    • In the same episode, Cupid, Briar, and Hopper convincing Grimm that their heart shaped cakes are for their "play" not a True Hearts Day Dance. How? Tell him there's a big cake-throwing scene and have Briar chuck one into Hopper's face.
  • Royal Students have a quiz on "Tiara Sizes and Future Neck Problems."
  • The Mirror Verse (basically the equivalent to their wi-fi) goes down. Everyone begins to panic about how they can't use social media. Raven points out they can still do all those things by talking to people...before Apple reminds her about the online quiz by Professor Rumpelstilkin that's due by sunset today. After a pause, Raven agrees it's now the time to panic. Cue everyone running around screaming.
  • After successfully growing an Evil Plant for Home Evilnomics, Apple scolds it and it starts to whimper in fear.
  • Ashlynn and Briar basically have a conversation that's "Let's poison our best friend to make her happy!"
    • After Briar attempts to leave Apple's birthday party by consuming more of the poisoned cake note , she gets turned into a tortoise instead.
    • Phoenix Blondie. Most especially because her head transforms first before everything else.
  • Dexter and Daring stating the various Charming families they aren't related to.
    • Also, all the Charmings depicted, related or otherwise, have the same presumably-blinding smile that's Daring's trademark.
  • In the Thronecoming special, we see Briar has a pretty, pink alarm clock...that shouts "GET UP!!".
  • After Blondie reveals she's brought a Meat Lover's pizza, Cerise takes a slice in her mouth like an actual dog, and when the others look at her strangely, she growls. She then proceeds to take the entire box.
  • In her Thronecoming Queen interview, Cupid gets lost in a fantasy of appointing Dexter as her King. At the end of the Imagine Spot, Cupid is passionately kissing the air until she opens her eyes and stares awkwardly at Humphrey and Dexter.
  • A lot of the logic Wonderlandians use can be this. Of course, this is Justified, they come from Wonderland. But the simple fact that all Maddie needs to do something impossible is not know it's impossible can be quite funny.
  • Cowardly Daring Charming in general.
    • Slob Ashlynn too.
    • Liar Cedar Wood, if only for the reason that everybody In-Universe treats this as the biggest indicator that something terrible is going on.
  • In Spring Unsprung the Wonderland kids going through the dumpster looking for the cursed book of riddles.
Wonderland kids (throwing items out): Broken sword, magic wand, useless beans! (beans grow into beanstalk)
Lizzie Hearts: Oatmeal, a retainer...I don't even know what this is. (it resembles a video cassette although what it's doing in that world is a mystery)
    • When they do find the book the dumpster's lid closes on them.
  • In the climax of Spring Unsprung pretty much everything with the Troll on Mount Grim
  • After Brooke tells Maddie about the Ginger's message in the pie Maddie collects every pie in the shop and we get this exchange
Lizzie: Why did you do that, Maddie?
Maddie: Ginger baked us a message. The voices told me so.
  • Sparrow's complete and utterly random appearance in "Chosen with Care."
Sparrow:I was just shoppin' for lady shoes!
  • Raven accidentally smashing up the school while trying to drive Baba Yaga's office in Driving Me Cuckoo.
  • Everyone's reaction to Raven offering to use her magic to mass produce gingerbread houses in "Sugar Coated". Hiding in fear behind a giant oven.
    • Raven and Apple once again prove to be complete polar opposites.
  • In Croquet-tastrophe, Raven and Apple try using a croquet match to solve their yearbook argument. Things get weird very quickly.
  • In Thronecoming Raven's request that she be allow to sign the story book of legends results in a succession of Big "WHAT?!" responses, that concludes in one from a knight fighting a dragon... along with said dragon, who takes the time to roast the distracted knight first.
  • When Cupid's arrows go out of control you get a glimpse of everyone going crazy with love and you see Alistair down on one knee kissing Bunny's hand and Bunny just smiles so happily in response.
  • In A Big Bad Secret Cerise and Ramona are about to duke it out when Big Badwolf bursts out from his classroom and angrily summons both girls into his classroom. Immediate cut to them, inside the classroom arms crossed and annoyed, yelling in unison 'DAD! SHE STARTED IT!'. Their resulting squabble (complete with a mocking imitation of Cerise, courtesy of her sister) is hilariously childish and sibling-like. Good to know the writers knew there are some things you never grow out of
  • In Cerise's Picnic Panic, Big Bad has to act evil to keep Hunter from finding out the Big Bad Secret. In addition to his Bad "Bad Acting", Cerise is stood behind Hunter prompting her father by fake growling and looking menacing. Badwolf's half-human daughter is better at being menacing than him. Red, for her part, seems to find it amusing. The whole scene really just shows Badwolf is not that menacing or scary at all.
  • While it's not played for laughs, in Moonlight Mystery, Justine accuses Ramona (a half-canine of stealing her shoes.

Way Too Wonderland

  • At the mention of the Queen of Hearts, Lizzie sadly stares at a cameo of her mother...with a Scary Flashlight Face, saying her "Off with your head!" catchphrase.
  • Raven accidentally teleports herself and several students (including Bunny in her animal form) onto Faybelle. She gets up, apologizing...and then Bunny shapeshifts back to human, for no reason other than to piss Faybelle off.
  • At the end of the flashback that the narrators are showing Brooke to explain what happened to Raven's mother, the Grimm brothers and Baba Yaga are seen fist bumping each other after trapping the Evil Queen in the mirror.
  • The Narrators with Wonderland fever:
Male narrator: Logic! It is plain to see that one plus one is less than three!
Female narrator: All beauties beaut in the hears you heard; the sightly sights of the whisply word.
  • Debate class.
  • Daring wistfully wonders how "Bookworm Darling" and "Klutzy Dexter" can be related to someone amazing as himself, then he promptly crashes the dragon he's driving.
  • The girls are trapped in eternal detention, and are seen generally freaking out. Brooke narrates over the girls scratching walls, running around, shaking the teacher and looking like they've hit their breaking point. Then Brooke says this:
Brooke: And so, the girls spent their first full MINUTE in detention.

Dragon Games

  • Almost all of Apple's interactions with the Evil Queen/Mira Shards.
    • Her politely trying to excuse herself after letting the Evil Queen out of the mirror.
  • Lizzie trying to walk an ornery Prince of Scales (Holly's dragon), until the leash breaks.
  • Daring losing his marbles from being without a reflective surface while trapped in the mirror realm.
  • Maddie's Leaning on the Fourth Wall:
Maddie: "Whoever heard of a Monster High?"
    • It's made even funnier by coming during a big dramatic moment where everyone's in tears. Maddie apologizes for breaking the mood, but from the way she grins at the camera you can tell she just thought everything was getting a little too heavy.
  • When the Evil Queen arrives, everyone is shocked and horrified...well, almost everyone.
Maddie (with genuine delight): Yay! The Evil Queen's here! *notices reaction* Said no one ever.
  • The Evil Queen's first on-screen interaction with her daughter is gold.
Evil Queen: Get me out of here, and I'll show you the way. We'll rule side-by-side. We'll take over Ever After High together! It'll be a great bonding experience, like shopping! Only world domination.
    • Also, when Raven first arrives to see her, the Evil Queen cheerily greets her while using an exercise bike. Yes, she has an exercise bike in her mirror realm prison.
  • Something about the way Apple refuses to take the apple the Evil Queen offers her, saying it looks like poison and the Evil Queen snaps, "Of course it's poison!"
  • After the Evil Queen is defeated, she still watches her daughter play in the dragon games while wearing a giant foam finger, like a typical embarrassing parent would.

Epic Winter

  • Blondie's early reporting, which has pretty much become obvious to everyone. What finally makes her Rage Breaking Point is when reporting on the weather, which is spoiled by Duchess pointing out it was because Crystal was visiting, being Instantly Proven Wrong about Crystal being a diva (with her saying "Hi, Blondie! I love your show!" with her, Briar and Ashlynn passing by), followed by a face pretty much saying "You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me!", and pretty much everyone saying how much they love Crystal after wondering if everyone is pleased with her.
    • Then, after storming off, Cerise walks in just to pick up her mic and say:
Cerise: This just in: Blondie Lockes needs to chill out!
  • The Running Gag of everyone avoiding Baba Yaga's hot cocoa, since it was made with pig's breath.
  • Baba Yaga not taking the Snow King's attitude lightly after he attacks her the first time.
Baba Yaga: He'd better be cursed, or he will be when I'm done with him!
  • When Beast Daring tries to show he's still got his charm, we see every girl reacting with shock… except for Cerise, who just has a "This is just too good" grin on her face.
  • During career day, all the students bring their parents to school. This includes Raven, who has to push around the mirror that her mother is trapped in.

The Storybook of Legends

  • Baba Yaga spraying Raven Queen with water, just like her cats.
  • The princesses having to rescue themselves during Damsel-in-Distressing class because, while the princes were tracking trolls, Hopper turned into his frog form and "was promptly taken by a swamp witch for some undoubtedly evil spell," necessitating his rescue.
  • Apple trying to figure out how to go unnoticed, tries to copy Cerise but hunching her shoulders and looking down at the ground only to be swarmed by people and animals concerned about her thinking she is hurt.
  • Hunter trying to 'save' Cedar from a woodpecker by chasing them with an axe, which only makes Cedar panic more. She is, of course, made of wood.

The Unfairest of Them All

  • This conversation, after Maddie tries to jump out Apple and Raven's bedroom window:
Raven: We're, like four stories up.
Maddie: I know, that's why going footwise on the stairs would take too long!
  • Raven advises Apple to change her password. Then Apple proceeds to show her said password. Still pretty secure, though, in that the password is very long and difficult to remember, and requires you know experimental mathematics to encode fairest into the right combination.
  • Nevermore appears to be screwing with the parents at the playground, changing forms and causing them to scream whenever she is regular size. The villagers stop and start screaming with each size change. It gets so bad the villagers start taking gasping breathes to anticipate her change and keep on screaming, exactly where they left of.
  • Bunnies. note
  • Apple getting roped into Briar's HeXtreme stunts.

A Wonderlandiful World

  • Maddie and Kitty trying to get the hang of narrating. They say the narration out loud to begin with, mystifying everyone who doesn't know about the narrator.
  • The Narrator doing a victory dance after he gets un-Jabberwocky'ed.
  • Maddie once again keeps trying to trick the narrator into telling her what's going on.
