  • The entirety of "Mummy Daddy", wher poor Harold is just trying to get to his wife when she's having their first baby. He's stuck in his incredibly complex and restricting mummy costume, which makes the redneck residents of a nearby town assume that he's a real mummy and chase him. With torches no less! Of course, Hilarity Ensues.
  • All of "Remote Control Man", where henpecked Walter Poindexter finds comfort in a unique television set that brings objects and people off the screen and into his house. First, his wife Grendel is replaced by a model from the Miss America pageant, but Walter changes her into June Cleaver when she doesn't know how to cook breakfast.
    • During the above scene, Walter's eldest son walks in and he's promptly turned into Face, followed by his younger son being turned into Arnold Jackson.
    • When a pair of loan sharks get into the mix after Face, thinking he's still on his show, antagonized them to the point of nearly burning the house down, Walter ends up panicking and turns them into Richard Simmons and Lyle Alzado. Then The Incredible Hulk shows up, then Toru Tanaka and a band of little wrestlers, then Jim Lange and a huge chunk of the audience for Let's Make a Deal, followed by KITT driving through the wall ("Have you seen Michael?"), and finally Ed McMahon, who tells Walter that none of this is real and that he needs to tune people in while tuning TV out.
  • Any scene for "Santa '85" that isn't heartwarming or tearjerking falls under this category.
  • The episode "Boo!", about the kindly and gentle ghosts Nelson and Evelyn Chumsky, who try to rid themselves and the home they haunt of the sleazy porn star and her husband when they move in.
  • The episode "The Sitter" has two young boys get the best of every babysitter in town, until they meet Jennifer, who uses voodoo magic that could put Mary Poppins to shame.
  • From "Thanksgiving": "Our scholars have determined the food you sent to be turkey. Very tasty. Please send more."
  • The ending of "Go to the Head of the Class" is darkly funny: "Well, I do have a bit of a sore throat!" (cue Evil Laugh)
  • "Family Dog"
    • The family returning home from the movies to see that their dog failed to stop two burglars from robbing them, which the father casually denies. Door broken open? No, the dog was here. Coffee table missing? But the dog was here! Stereo system gone? But the dog was here!!
    • After sending the dog to guard dog school, the father is unimpressed when he returns, and the dog is as playful and happy-go-lucky as ever. The instructor snaps her fingers, and the dog instantly turns into a ferocious beast. It pays off when the burglars return and this time, he's able to take them out. Unfortunately, it works a little too well and he attacks the dad when he tries to get in after accidentally locking himself out.
  • In the beginning of "The Mission", one of the bomber's crew members is goofing off and standing in the Jeep he's sitting in—only to bonk his head on the nose of the B-17 he's parked under and go tumbling onto the ground, much to the amusement of his crewmates.
